NOTW XL: Return of the Baron (Game Thread)

Okay, the scummiest, silliest excuse for a non-vote in a long time has just been posted!

It's only for classical_hero. :p

A drunk acrobat, now that would be awesome to see.

You guys still have time to save yourself from looking really stupid.

That your post was very very scummy and you are scummerising yourself even more.

But it's not, that's not scummy at all. Classical and Seon are both circus folk and we'd hate to lose one of them, really we need both of them to stop their feud and switch to someone like Kennigit.

After Seon’s :crazyeye: post, I am willing to give ATPG the benefit of the doubt.

I should note that I don't actually know if Seon is guilty or not. I just had a feeling, that's all.

He tried really hard to convince me of his innocence in private, for whatever that's worth.

I don't want Seon to die. He's told me something that is consistent with something I know to be true. Classical_hero has offered nothing but "you'll be sorry". cpdwane is dubious, too.

By the way, my rabbit got into the booze last night, and I think it's dead. Stew, anyone?

Why would we hate to lose circus folk? If all circus folk are Innocent (which they're not, look at the Bearded Lady!) then all the town is werewolf? Have we come to Wolf City?

So there's not much to choose from… :( Has Seon said anything about what we discussed yesterday?

Well I did run over a rabbit last night. Now I know where it came from! Roadkill stew? Yummy. :yumyum:

If that's the only defense you are going to put, then you've convinced me to switch my vote.

unvote: Seon; vote: classical_hero

Come on, if you're so important, I think it's time to claim or give us something else than "you all suck". I don't believe you.

This post reaks of scumvibes. You should know ATPG better than that. It sounds like you're trying to find an excuse to lynch him, which is a rather serious affliction that affects 87% of all anti-townies. You really should get that checked, if whatever afterlife you go to knows how to do so.

Vote: cpdwane

I know ATPG, and I know what a marvelous player he normally is. My vote isn't based on an excuse, it's based on a perfectly valid reason: why on earth was he acting the way he was in this game, voting for Seon constantly? And maybe voting for him makes me look scummy, but surely the fact he's a valuable player shouldn't stop us from being allowed to be suspicious of his behaviour. We haven't seen his role PM, after all.

I should note that I don't actually know if Seon is guilty or not. I just had a feeling, that's all.

Well, in that case, lynching Seon would seem like a wise move, since you've testified to his innocence, your fates are now interlinked, and lynching him would certainly tell us something of your own alleigance. Renata's also.

Wait, wait, what? First you claim that ATPG is acting scummy, then you go and follow his vote? Explain, please, cpdwane.

Because in his latest post, he admits he can't justify his attack on Seon, and he says Seon has protested his innocence to him, which implies he's seen the error in his ways and will no longer mercilessly witchhunt Seon. I don't know quite what could be going on there, to be honest, but with Renata claiming a similar thing in her last post, it just seems to scream of some sort of scum tactic to me. I totally see how my vote switch must look like circular reasoning, but if nothing else, if we kill Seon it may tell us something about ATPG's and Renata's allegiences, so it seems like a worthwhile oppertunity to me.

I haven't seen the error of my ways until his head rolls off his shoulders and there is flesh and blood underneath it, not a team of thirty-five squirrels dressed as clowns.

Seon claimed various contradictory things to me privately, which sounded like soft claims that he felt he could make without "looking serious", thus giving him the benefit of maybe changing my mind, without looking like he has to back up his story.

That's weak, because if he was a real role, he would know that nothing short of telling me what it was would change my mind, and even then I'd probably flip a coin to see if I should believe the claim or not, since it's usually fake.

Seon seems to be dancing on a tightrope between serious and Seon, and it looks quite uncomfortable. I like pressuring people like that, maybe they'll fall and you'll get a scum. If not, hey, at least his exit was dramatic.
