NotW XLI: Chronomancy Redux [Game Thread]

As someone who kills the enemies of the town, Harkonnen II deserves the items.

If either of you knows anything about that and wants to make a case for your continued existence, now is probably the time. You both accused civplayah yesterday. You're both suspicious for multiple reasons. And BSmith -- who could have made a case for the Chronomancers yesterday -- said nothing. That speaks poorly of all of you. If you have any good intentions for the rest of us, make your case now while you might for a while be seen as the lesser threat.

I can't speak for Red_Spy, nor for the Chronomancers themselves, but I am not a Demon... nor am I on their side.

I'm a complete rookie. I didn't think about the whole FoS thing, and I didn't know if I had a good case on my hands. When several experienced players appeared to agree with me, I decided that my case was good. I know, I should have voted to begin with. I honestly didn't think about that at the time. Maybe a better case would turn up... and switching to that would have just attracted 'General Olaf, why did you switch so soon after voting civplayah?' votes.

Believe me. I'm no threat to the town. And I don't lie.

I want Ironwood Staff

If I have a weapon, I will be able to attack enemies of the town

Rest of items may go for Harkonnen.

Ohhh. My son!. I raised him like own blood! And... he is dead. And... he was a chronomancer??? Such young, such innocent...

Why civplayah and not Sir Knight who actually goes out and kills scummers?

Sir Knight has killed no Chronomancers*, and until and unless they speak for themselves I cannot treat them as friends of mine. civplayah was the target of both choxorn and bsmith. He has a better claim to the items than Harkonnen does, plus perhaps a better use for them. He should get them.

*Unless Gamezrule is one.

No, but I can improve any item in my possession.

But I've killed a demon, which is a slight more than anyone else has done.

and I'm not saying the chronomancers are by any word good but so far all they've done is heal a dead citizen.

Just some perspective.

Yes. But you DO have a weapon. Please, let me have one too

Bsmith - 7 (Renata, Frozen, Jarrema, choxorn, yoshiegg, jht, Earthling, Backward's Logic)

OOC @ TFA -- 7 votes but 8 names: mistake or shenanigans?

Harkonnen II should get everything - the one person who seemsto have done some clear good.

Interesting... Backwards logic voted for Bsmith. Disunited chronomancers or spreading clouds of confusion? I'm not treating anyone as innocent just because of voting patterns.

GamezRule, however, I would tend to trust given that Harkonnen's kills appear to reveal demons at least.

I would like one of the staffs, my ability isn't very useful with only one item.GamezRule can have the armor and the hourglass, but should pass on the armor to Harkonnen once he's improved it, to prove his ability, and it's clear both aren't demons. One might be a chronomancer, but with two of them down, I'm less concerned about them.

Jarrema, Autolycus, just vaguely claiming you too have some ability that could use an item isn't really that great. In fact, considering you're implicitly refusing to let civplayah try out his ability, that's not a very comforting move. Firstly civplayah's ability really sounds very useful it's true so I'd like to hear good reasons someone else's ability is more immediately necessary. Waiting a whole one day for you guys to then get some items and get into your abilities is not exactly a big deal, if we get civplayah sorted out now.

Jarrema at least seems to be implying something clearly, in that he will attack someone. I think we might want some more commitment and assurances before taking such a risk though. If we vote you what you want, how about you plan to first attack Abaddon who hasn't shown up?

And if civplayah is somehow scum, he's backed into a corner with just about no choices, if things don't come through then we'd have solid proof and can get rid of him. He gets the items, and then he can put everything back up to vote (or if the scum get desperate and kill him, well, tough luck but it'll show he's town).

I will say, people mass voting to Harkonnen, that's a silly move and very possible scum would try that now to blend in. If he wants something specific and says he has a reason we should oblige, sure, but by default Harkonnen can't use all the items on his own, and if you assume he's just going to pass the item to someone like civplayah in private, cut out the wasted time and just vote the items now to the people who need them all for "abilities" so we can sort it all out sooner.

In my opinion GamezRule could be a chronomancer, why else would they have reversed time?

Time reversal effects said:
--All people who were permanently slain are still dead. If they were killed after morning two, their intact bodies now sit lifelessly in their beds.
--GamezRule the Enginner is now alive again.
--Some actions may have been reversed

"Some actions may have been reversed" - which I have no clue of what it could be.

The only thing we know was reversed, is GamezRule death. Until we hear what else has been reversed, I'm simply not considering the engineer as innocent, and in my opinion he shouldn't be voted or given items.

I also find it suspicious that Autolycus will vote the hourglass, an obvious chronomancy artifact, to someone who was revived by time reversal. Bad reasoning, I believe, and worthy my vote.

First thing: I would need at least weapons that give +2 bonus to strenght in order to gain attack ability. Do not know how many this staff adds. If it is too weak, I can give it then to someone else (for example Harkonnen)
Second: I would gladly consider any suggestions as to whom should I attack. On the first place sugestions from our knight.

I think they'd have reversed it because he was the only person who wasn't "permanently dead" as of their move.

The only item I would like is perhaps the Hourglass to make sure that it is not used by either chronomancers or anyone with ill intent.

I would also like to see the Amor because there is something interesting about "INFERNAL" armor, it sounds rather evil and if it has anything to do with the demons I must know of it.

Yes, it is suspicious. Very good points IMHO, Roman
Autolycus should be killed.
