Yeah, why is abstaining bad when we have no evidence of mafia amongst us as yet?
Interesting statement, considering unless Tak did an entirely unorthodox game and put in no bad guys at all, there's definitely bad guys here present. Just in a public way they haven't made their presence felt as of yet.
I have a theory which I'm going to throw out there. Since we're likely looking at one of two things: either a completely inactive mafia/zombie team or a slow conversion over time of various players at night, I'm inclined to believe the later. Also, we need to look at the updates closely - there's clues in here I think:
Night One
Nobody died this night, but the Zombies encroached on the building and the people knew they'd have to move before dusk.
Night one - says zombies broke in. Probably did something to one of us.
Once again the party checked their numbers and found that no one had been killed.
Night two - does not suggest zombie activity happened at this location. Seems like it actually was an uneventful night.
The party had managed to close the doors before any of the Zombies sneaked in.
Night three - Zombies clearly followed us here, though it would seem we stopped them from entering. Hard to say though.
It all could be red-herrings, but then again it could indicate whether or not the zombies were actually up to something. Given that we started at Hannibal's apartment by default and that zombies broke in, I'm inclined to believe it is an indication of something. In other words, the night one zombie moves were scripted by the host and supposed to happen, as we had zero control of the starting location.
Since there has to be at least one zombie among us at the start, I would also think to prevent game balance from being upset early with a lucky guess, this person would have to be unlynchable, maybe permanently, perhaps temporarily until he could gather a few more zombies. We clearly have one unlynchable - TFA which gives some merit to the theory. What also bothers me is the timing of his reveal - If you're townie, why allow the town to waste the lynch by following through with the votes. If you're a zombie, letting the town waste the lynch on you, only to reveal later, only makes sense
if there was another zombie within spitting distance of getting the vote lead. During night one, something zombie-ish happened to someone as given by the writeup indicating the break-in.
With no kills, abstaining is the dumbest thing the town can do. Period. Putting pressure on people, seeing how they react and who also reacts is going to be the only way to really tell who's with who. Going back to my theory, we have Bad Player insisting we abstain since there's no evidence bad things are going on, who also happened to push the unlynchable TFA into the lead on day two when he was partially under some fire as well. My guess? TFA is the ringleader, and Bad Player is the night one convert.
If TFA is unlynchable, then I'd go after
Bad Player on his moves throughout the game and his most recent posts now. In any event, I think TFA should be vig'd - I doubt he can avoid the lynch and have a pro-town power also. I don't think we can risk lynching him again and having the day wasted. That's what I have thus far. It ain't perfect, but it's better than nothing.
