NOTW XXXIX: Impending Retribution Game Thread

"...Nictel? The Fire Extinguisher?"

One of the sexier inanimate objects you'll find. If you learn how to work it, you can even get covered in foam.

And if that isn't enough to float your.... uh, modern warship, here's some more sexy inanimate objects for your viewing pleasure.

Spoiler :
The toothbrush... a study in true romance.

Yeah, baby, yeah!

Stand to attention, Recruit askthepizzaguy! This is not proper behaviour for a member of this proud Navy!

(OOC: I'd have said 'and officer and a gentleman' but you're neither :p)

Sir, are you suggesting that the Navy has no place for good oral hygiene? :salute:

Not soldiers, sir. This isn't the landlubber army. This is the Navy. Confused, you are indeed.

Wait – I thought landlubber was in the Navy? What is a soldier doing on our ship, and when did he get his own army? :crazyeye:

(OOC: LMFAO off at this thread today!)

"Testing your attentiveness, sailor. Good job."
Really, sir, I believe Dr. Seon should give you some of that medication. We're in the Navy. Where you can search for pleasure, search the world for treasure, learn science and technology, begin to make your dreams all come true, learn to fly, play in sports and skin dive, study oceanography, etc. The Navy.

Why do you laugh, recruit? STAND TO ATTENTION! The Navy is serious business.

Well we can't have Frozen getting all the love, can we? Tell Renata something about yourself, landlubber.
Secretly, I'm very lonely.

But seriously, I'm a musician. My personal goal on this ship is to throw a party, through my ability, appropriately titled "...and party everyday!" The party gets everyone dancing and singing all night and voids the entire night phase. However, I need someone else to throw the party with me. Wanna throw a party tonight, Renata?

I agree with the suggestion that we should ask some of our more quiet member to give us thier opinion. With that in mind will seaman Ekolite step forward?

Also, we should put our trust in the command structure. Methos can have the crate. I have no opinion on where the drugs should go unless there is someone else needs them?

No thanks, hon. :) I think someone was looking for you.

Don't listen to her! She's put on a kitten avatar on IM and tried to use it to subjugate me!

CCRunner, I'm really sorry if this is a false accusation or something, but I don't have time to wait for a response. As far as I understand it, you had the opportunity to help out the ship last night when you were doing what you were doing (that is, you could have used a rank ability), and you did nothing. Why's that, sweetie?

And why did you vote for Nictel?

The new Ensign Secura looked around the room at each of her fellow shipmates; she was confused as to who had chosen to promote her and for what reason... such uncertainty made her nervous.

Despite such uncertainty, she was sure that her faith in the new captain was well-placed, and thus she voted for both the crate and the drugs to be handed to Methos.

OOC : This game is going fast... Still very busy at work. Yes, even on weekends.

Lieutenant Izipo reporting for duty, sir.
Gentlemen, I've been in the navy before some of you were even born. I've been there, done that and got the T-shirt to prove it.
Back then, enlisted men never even thought about discussing orders or accusing their superiors of wrongdoing.
I understand the situation at hand complicates matter a bit, as it is possible - although unlikely - that bad guys have infiltrated our dear and respected rank structure.
But still, I cannot let PO2 Autolycus accuse me of neglecting my own ship and being indifferent to her troubles.
I trust our Captain Methos to distribute the contents of the crate wisely, which will ultimately benefit the whole crew.

Oh, also, in my Navy winners don't do drugs. So we'd better get rid of that synthetic devil's stuff. Cereals with spring water will keep a sailor healthy, not psychosis-inducing drugs.

Now gentlemen, if you'll excuse me, I'll go back to my nap. We old sailors need our rest more than the young'uns, so that we can be fresh and ready when duty calls.

I'm glad to see that our Captain appears to be in no danger from the crate, so given that, I'm quite happy for Methos to get the goodies.

I'm not entirely sure who we should be sending down to the brig (or maybe even off the plank) yet. I'm satisfied with the explanation of our psychiatrist, so with a lack of any better options, I'll throw my weight behind the vote on Frozen In Ice for now, although this is liable to change if a better argument for someone else's incarceration or execution comes up.

"oooohhh"
