Lets just keep on playing and see what happens, I bet the 1.61 Rev C patch I have will work fine with all of you no matter what patch you are all running.

The mac patch usually is slower to release than the PC patch. 1.61 Rev C probably doesn't include the 1.74 stuff. With my other games, we have just played on with some people patched and others not. The save loads fine either way, it just means that people are playing a slightly different game (ie some with whip bug, others without).

That said, I got the game from Geoff today and got this issue ...

I have standard Vanilla patched to 1.74 - what is the problem?

The problem is we have not patched yet. We are still running 1.61. You need to play the game on the old patch. Only the game host can upgrade the game to the new patch.

It's no problem Tim. But like I said...I will only have one version sometime shortly after Thanksgiving. Perhaps this game will be over by then.

Just checked the Aspyr site, no new patch yet. Took my turn and sent it though so that's cool. I'm not really working right now so when I get my turn it's a real highlight of my day.

To India's credit. They only have one city left, but their culture still controls over half of their continent.

The last Pink Indian city has fallen under blue France's Control. India fought a great fight and had me scared and up against the wall most of the time. I would like to extend a thank you to Ruff Hi for giving me one of the most thrilling wars of my life. I would also like to thank my Loyal Ally Dogboy for honoring the Defensive Pact that we had established, without the combined attack from America and France a victory would not have been possible.

oh no ... what dreaded news. Is that the last Indian city on its original home land or did it include the city that the 2nd India gifted to India (if you know what I mean). I've been dreading this message for the last few days.

The city on the Inida 2 continent remains. That city doesn't matter to France, we wouldn't want to inflict any harm on the citizens of India 2 that still live there.

France considers the war over and has sent over the required peace envoys.

The Franco-War may be over, but the German-American War is well-underway. The Germans have been culturally attacking the Americans for hundreds of years now. Our people are starving because the Germans are taking over our lands. Even after running cultural at 100% plus more with civic options we are still losing ground. Our only recourse is to take back the land that use to be ours through military force. We regret it had to come to this.

The Germans are guilty only of working the land Mother Nature gave to them.

When the Americans arrived on our homeland from overseas, we thought our people could live in harmony.

The Germans did not complain when our borders were pushed back to the very edge of our settlements ... we just took steps to ensure food for our people.

Now that the borders you contest are roughly evenly split you declare war.

The Americans are nothing but WARMONGERS.

We wondered how long it would take for this to happen once your war with India finished ... we were still suprised at how little time it took for you to declare war on someone else.

The situation is plain for everyone to see ... you helped France in their war against India thanks to your 'mutual defence' agreement... now we expect that France will return the favour, especially bearing mind that our other land neighbour just happens to be France !

The truth of the matter is clear for the world to see.

If Germany has to fight alone she will fall, but she will never surrender.

Who will stand with us in fighting such tyranny ?
