Second Mexican American War at an end
Houston, Mexican Workers Republic
With the impending debt defaults of both nations and as casualties continued to mount, the United States of America and the Mexican Workers Republic have at last announced a peace treaty. The former states of Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona have been annexed into Mexico, triggering a mass exodus of Whites still living in the region, while many Hispanics have taken the opportunity to move into the new Mexican territories. All in all, this war has had disasterous effects for both sides of the war. Though Mexico was eventually victorious, the victory feels hollow. Only three American cities were annexed, while the gem that is California remained in American hands, and all in all, the American economy remains significantly larger than the Mexican one. Mexican generals have loudly complained about their desire to conquer America, though some labor unions have applauded the decision to end the war now. Still, the effects of the war have been gravely felt upon Mexico, with the cities feeling a bit emptier, but it could not compare to the dramatic revolution that would later grip America.

Angola subjugated
Lobita, African Federation
With the AF forces no longer restricted by logistic concerns, the assault on Angola continued on in earnest. AF airpower, both land and sea based craft, attacked the Angolan forces with missiles and bombs to some effect, though the lack of dedicated bomber craft prevented the AF from achieving full domination. African troops would assault Lobita sheltered in tanks and APCs, and though the Angolans fought bitterly, it would be here that the war would be decided. Angola lost most of its artillery pieces and armor in the battle, and a hastily marshalled defense for the capital barely delayed the surrender. With the victory in Angola, many experts are contemplating what the African Federation may attempt now. Some have contemplated that a clash with superpowers West Africa or Nyanza, or even the powerful DRC, could be in the future, while others have wondered if the Federations anti-Western ideology could have a role in their next target.

Final battle of Indian unification at an end
Karachi, The Republic of India
With the brutal first strikes and the massive guerrilla campaign that rose up in Pakistan, it was of little surprise to see that Pakistan would fall to Indian forces later this spring. Though the Grenadiers had to finish the fight without heavy air support, it was of little consequence as the Pakistani troops had little armor or air cover of their own. Street to street fighting did occur in Karachi, but for the most part, the war ended rather quietly all things considered. While pro-Indian fever is still running high for the moment, the earlier protests in Nepal, Bhutan, and even Bangladesh shows that even an initially popular invasion can sour. For now though, the people of New Delhi are in ecstatic celebration, as India can now claim to be one of the strongest nations in the world, a nation that few, if any, could ever harm

Concordat continues campaign through Europe
Belgrade, European Concordat
The EC has continued its expansion south into the Balkans, with many experts believing the Concordats intention is to reassert control over not only the former European Union, but also of the entire continent itself. Bosnia would be first target, a nation weakened by disputes with its neighbors, and could barely put up a resistance against Concordat forces. It would be left to Serbia to resist Concordats expansion, and though its government made bold declarations of strength, Belgrade knew it was powerless without aid from Moscow. The European bombing campaign was even greater than the NATO campaign of the 90s, and with two armies assaulting it from both directions, Serbia was simply unable to defend itself. European air power at times was misdirected to fake artillery pieces, but for the most part was able to blanket Serbias troops as they were overwhelmed by both numbers and an outflanking. Countries such as Romania and Greece who had initially believed themselves capable of resisting a Concordat offensive have taken new measures to improve their defenses, but many experts wonder if any measures really could stop the Concordats rapid growth.

Argentina overruns Bolivia!
La Paz, Empire of Argentina
With the Brazilian Emperor embarking on a complete reversal of policy over the past few months, Argentina has felt emboldened once more to expand its empire, this time to neighboring Bolivia. The legendary Tigers, an elite, mountainous force, was well-prepared to fight in the alpine regions of Bolivia. Though Sucre was initially a challenge, Argentine bombers were able to take out key Bolivian strongholds, and allowed Imperial troops to take the city. From there, Bolivia attempted to regroup at La Paz, but Argentina continued its assault and the Bolivians were unable to save the city. For the people of Argentina, this victory has come as a welcome addition to the empire, an empire who had some initial doubts cast on it with the stalemate in Chili, though the Argentine people are particularly clamoring for a confrontation with both Chile and eventually Brazil. For now though, the parades in Buenos Aires continue to draw large numbers of patriotic Argentines, and support for the Emperor has returned for the most part.

Burkina Faso brought in line
Ouagadougou, Federal Democratic Republic of West Africa
Following an embarrassing defeat to Gambian troops, the GGLA 2nd Division was forced to play support to the 1st Divisions latest conquest. Burkina Faso, a nation plagued by instability since 2015, was of little consequence to the Desert troops of the 1st Division, and the nation was annexed into the larger federation.

The Final American Revolution?
Washington D.C., The United States of America
With the final peace secured with Mexico, new negotiations between the Progressive Restoration and the United States military government commenced, securing of the end of the American military regime. Progressive militias in numerous cities, including Seattle, Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore, and San Francisco, were well-coordinated in arresting numerous regime officials and army officers. Many generals that were in Miami decided that, without the amnesty granted to General Fossey, the United States was no longer safe for them. Most fled to Canada or the United Kingdom, though several also found positions consulting for the militaries of smaller nations. Donald Trump Jr. initially planned to stand for election due to his amnesty, but when the Trump Towers of New York were ransacked and burned in riots, he too opted to flee the country. Within the new America, feelings have been mixed on the direction of the country. Though some principles, such as support for ethnic minorities, liberal social policies, lower income disparity, and restoration of constitutional freedoms, there have been passionate debates across the nation. Some have called for something similar to a Mexican-style workers republic to focus on equality for the nation, while others have insisted that would be too radical, and have opted in for something one might find in early 21st century Scandinavia. Many outside the Restorations militant wing are not fans of the rampant, unrestrained capitalism of the old America, but would instead prefer something found in the 1950s, with a large middle class and the possibility to rise into an upper class. Many former Democrats and Republicans have been ostracized for their acceptance of It remains to be seen though how the American people will use their first vote in 20 years, though the election promises to be one of the most important in American history.

Indian troops begin occupation of Afghanistan
Kabul, Republic of India
With the campaign in Pakistan nearing victory, Indian politicians opted to send the Presidents Bodyguard north into Afghanistan, supported by the Western Air Command. While this did end up slowing the advance into Pakistan, Indian troops were fairly successful in defeating Afghan forces, despite their possession of relatively modern NATO equipment from the First Afghan-American War. Indian air power played a key role in the victory, though did suffer some losses. Many experts have noted that the Indian government is the latest in a long line of conquerors, and wonder if this occupation will turn out differently than it did for other powers, such as the British, Russians and Americans,

Soldiers of the Caliph grow restless
Tripoli, The Islamic State
Many generals in the Islamic State have reported a worrying trend of disobedience in the armed forces. Soldiers have been reported getting into fights, vandalizing property, and even insubordination. Many have attributed this to the soldiers sympathy for the plight of Muslims living under unrighteous governments, such as in Tunisia or Turkey. Others have pointed out that it would be impossible for soldiers to be obedient if the existence of Israel continued on. Either way, the trend has become worrying, and many are calling upon the Caliph to do something before the situation deteriorates further.
