Pro-Indian Mutiny grips Pakistan!
Islamabad, Republic of India
After a year of preparation and funding (some say that the Pakistani insurgents were better equipped than the armies of some super powers), the Republic of India has at last made its move against its long standing rival in Pakistan. Pro-Indian guerillas sabotaged Pakistani airfields, and detonated IEDs near Pakistan border installations as Indian troops began their assault. The Indian troops attempted to outflank the Pakistani troops with some small success due to their local allies, but the pro-government Pakistani forces were still able to sustain an admirable defensive line, despite the fact that India had achieved air superiority over what little remained of the Pakistani Air Force. In the end though, much of the Pakistani military would be destroyed, though the Indians did sustain some significant casualties, but the result has been that the entire north has fallen to India and its Pakistani supporters. The Pakistani government troops have regrouped in the south now, though most experts feel that, barring a miracle, decades of Indian separation will be at an end.

Concordat expands reach into Central Europe!
Budapest, European Concordat
With Russia sufficiently neutered, the European Concordat has taken its first steps in bringing the rest of Europe into its orbit. The veteran ERRF overwhelmed the Croatian military in a matter of hours, and European forces recieved the surrender of the Croatian government that same day. The European Joint Defense Force had a more difficult time in Slovakia, but the sheer number of European troops simply overwhelmed Slovakia, who was forced to also surrender after a day of fighting. Gendarme brigades were deployed to assist with the cleaning up of dissidents, and some units in each country would hold out for a few more days, but the majority of citizens realized it was a pointless endeavour to resist. After Slovakia and Croatia were subdued, the two European Armies launched a joint operation against Hungary. Nurtured on far-right anti-Europe policies for decades, the Hungarians were far more prepared than Slovakia and Croatia, and the Hungarian army held the EJDF in the north, barely losing any territory until the ERRF launched its offensive in the south. The Hungarians were completely unable to fight on multiple fronts, and while some would continue fighting on after the loss of Budapest, most units realized it was a lost cause and the Concordat was once again victorious. With these recent additions, all of Southern Europe lays open to the Concordat and though some, such as Romania, Greece, and Serbia, will be able to put up a fight, many of the countries in the region have miniscule military budgets and lack the hardware or numbers to resist the Concordats encroachment. In Europe proper, after a century of being overshadowed by Asia and America, many are applauding these victories as a first step of returning Europe to its proper place atop the world.

African Federation stumbles in Angola invasion
Lobito, Republic of Angola
The AF, fresh off their combined arms assault into Madagascar, was eager to once more put its combined arms assault to work with an invasion into neighboring Angola, however their succeses were limited by strained logistics. The 5th Marines were unable to take its assault behind enemy lines, and were forced to slog around with the veteran 1st Federation Army against the bulk of Angolan troops. However, with the support from the African supercarrier, the Mobius squadron has established air superiority in the region, and African generals are anticipating that the liberation of Angola should be completed by the end of Spring.

Argentina withdraws from Chile
Santiago, Republic of Chile
With the sudden Brazilian denunciation of the Treaty of Montevideo, Argentina was left highly exposed in its back flank. Though the Argentinians had done significant damage to the Chilean army, the lack of defensive forces in the homeland forced Argentina to prematurely end its invasion without a true victory. Though the Argentinian press has called this a victory, the populace has still reacted with anger, wondering how the first Imperial campaign could end without total victory. While Argentine ambassadors have denounced the Brazilian repudiation as proof of how the Brazilians cannot be trusted, it has been met with bemusement by neutral countries, with the Peruvian president calling it the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact of South America. Indeed, since Brazils protection of Chile, Brazils standing has improved signficiantly in the region, and many hope that Brazil and Argentina keep one another too busy to fight the other South American countries.

Azerbaijan quickly subjugated
Baku, United Socialist Federation of Russia
Before the Chinese offensive was launched into Central Asia, veteran Russian troops were under orders to quickly subjugate the people of Azerbaijan. Russias doctrine of bringing intense firepower to the battlefield would help crush the Arzerbaijanian army in an efficient manner, with the Armenians seeming to be in complete chaos from day one. Suffering minimal casualties, Russian troops confidently marched through Baku and received the governments surrender. Azerbaijan has been added to the Socialist Federation with little bloodshed, but as war rages in China, one must wonder how long the Russian government (and nation) will last.

West African Marines bogged down in Gambia
Banjul, Republic of Gambia
The FDRWA, seeking to catch neighboring Gambia off-guard, sent the amphibious GGLA-2nd Division to bypass the border units and instead hit right at the port city of Banjul, in a rare example of a modern amphibious assault upon a city directly. Unfortunately for the West Africans, the Gambian coastal batteries were well-prepared for this possibility, and made brutal work of the West African transports and naval units. When the West Africans were able to finally land, they were stymied by a lack of armor, artillery, or air support of any kind, all of which the Gambians had in spades. The West Africans were forced to call off their assault, and returned to Ghana to contemplate their next move.

Jamaica free once more!
Kingston, Republic of Jamaica
The people of Jamaica, having seen the weakness of the US forces have gotten the courage (and financial backing) to rise up against their absent overlords. In an almost pathetic defense, the US occupational authority almost immediately surrendered, leading some Jamaicans to wonder why they hadnt risen up yet in the first place. Jamaicas independence in itself has not been a major issue for the Americans, but the only thing missed has been the Jamaican economy, desperately needed for the US war effort.
