Spain Reunited!
After the Nationalist Spanish victory at sea against the Republican invasion fleet, Republican troops within Libreria Fortaleza have deserted en masse. The Nationalist army under the Command of General Francisco Franco has seized the fortress and is currently touring it as a reminder of what would have faced the Nationalist army had the enemy not lost heart.

Empress Anastasia met with a crowd of cheering people in Madrid when she announced the victory over the Republican forces, she also called for peaceful growth within Spain itself and promised the creation of more jobs.

Congratulations! Well done! Enjoy ruling Spain. I take it from the large the naval battle that you may have been tipped off to my plans. I know it was a desperate gamble. But I figured it was the only chance I had. I hope you will turn Libreria Fortaleza into a beautiful garden. Although turning it into a labor camp for Communist sympathizes may bring more satisfaction.

I hope what ever sad thing that has happened works itself out. Remember to take things one day at a time. Its also okay to take time off for yourself. Dont let others tell you how to feel.
I am having too much fun to leave this NES. I was planning to re-join as an existing nation. I dont have to play Communist. I can play any role as IC. I am more then happy to play as a Communist rebellion. Please shoot me a PM as to where you want to start a rebellion. In my opinion Yugoslavia would be a fun rebellion. Especially with Austria and Russia trying to gain influence there.
My only gripe with the update is that I wanted to kill Deperezi. I figured my plans would fail. So I already had Hemmingway inspired (stolen) death scene. Oh Well

actually to be entirely honest my navy just sort of bumbled into you
they were there to capture those Islands so the Republican government couldn't, as I put it, "pull a taiwan"

Its interesting that a primarily land based civil war was decided in a naval battle. Just like real history. Important events are determined by accidents. I definitely plan to continue. I am only awaiting some feedback from Nuclear_Kid. I am not that great of opponent. You defeated me in two turns.
One final note about Spain. Japan has captured the Philippines from Spain. This has not been resolved or acknowledged by the previous government. With Japan being dog piled. There may be a chance to get them back. Or get Japan to pay you to turn them over to you.

indeed, I had forgotten about them and with it being NPCed I wont feel bad about it
and about beating you in two turns, had I not stumbled my way into victory you would have beaten me in two turns, since Madrid would have been easily captured by a landing I hadn't seen comming

I'm not wanting to START a rebellion, i mean the blue thing that appeared.
My reasoning is that noone would be able to play fairly with Japan now.. its basically a dead nation. (I'll send a few PM's how i suggest you handle that nation)
By choosing a new nation people will be able to play IC with me. It was JAPAN who saw the oppoortunity to expand via the backstabbing of USCA, not ME.
