Odd behaviour after patch

Two things I have noticed:

1) Often, when the view would normally centre on a unit that needs orders, it centres on the player's capital instead.

2) The game tends to crash on exit with
Unhandled Exception
Code: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION
Error reading address 0xd907fe0

Is anyone else seeing this?
 
Not seeing this... But I DID get something like that after the initial NFP DLC (maya and GC) and it was a mod that caused it.

Good luck finding the source

Edit: To be clear, I'm talking about the # 2
 
no problems, seeing the AI build more units and fight ever slightly better

A welcome sight as the AI is ever so pathetic on Civ 6.....worst ever as 5 gave you at least a slight challenge.

STILL

In the late age years its air power use is pathetiuc

Its the ONLY game I ever played that DOESNT use all its own units

. 1.it NEVER uses bombers, as I bomb the snot out of him , winning easily
2. It very rarely even deploys a fighter to defend itself....amybe 1 out of 100 games ive seen it.
 
The game does crash from time to time when exit to desktop.. But it's not really a high priority fix I would say
 
Yes exactly has happend to me to. I have had no exit crash since I switch to directx12 which I all forgott about since I re-installed the game.
Not sure if this is the case though but so far so good.
 
Am I the only one who experiences that randomly pretty early game, I will suddenly "encounter" a civ that is actually on another continent and have their capital revealed, even though we actually haven't met at all?

It's not because of suzerainity or anything?

No, but I have a feeling it might be related to some bug when a natural disaster triggers. Like in one game, Dido was hit by a hurricane, and the area where the hurricane landed was revealed. Not sure if it's mod-related or a base game bug.

I've definitely had this happen countless times to me, ever since GS, and usually triggers on floods or on a city state's builder that uses its last charge. In the case of the builder, it seems almost like when the city state loses the builder, instead of the visibility it grants disappearing, it's transferred to my control instead, because I've noticed that the surrounding two tile rings stay revealed for the rest of the game unless there's woods or hills in the way. As for the floods, they also usually appear by city states but not always, and it gives visibility of just the affected tiles, sort of like the little zoom in you get of a flood that occurs near your own borders
 
I have been experiencing a wide array of crashes since August.
1 - Random CTD
2 - Forced to end task because of endless round. Reload from autosave almost never causes a repeat hang.
3 - As of this week (there was some content update) additionally I have been getting crashes with debug reporting dialogues ALSO system errors with HEX error codes.
 
I have experienced an "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION" crash today in a game with Indonesia.

But I do have some mods open in this game with game breaking possibility - I installed the Cheat Map Editor for removing district blocking luxuries. Moreover, this Indonesia game already seemed to experience the good old theocracy different governments penalty bug. I had a -40 relationship with every civ that had found a religion, including Gilgabro, and everyone just kept denouncing me.
 
The only odd behaviour I have noticed is that game stopped crashing to desktop so often after august patch
 
Yeah my epic/huge game keeps crashing with the access violation error, it's not able to be finished. I am not home so can't document it now but yes, sadly it's game breaking for me at least for this game. Don't think I'm gonna start another until next patch.
