In commemoration of my 5000th post, what better way than to give a thanks to all you at CFC:
Ode to CFC
In a snug little corner of the Net,
There lies a site Id have to bet
Has the greatest forum Ive seen yet.
Its a community of Civ-lovers,
Full of right-wing Fascists
And left-wing tree huggers.
But more than that, not just a place to chat,
Its what I call my Internet home.
You see, twas one fateful summer day when I came here,
Letting the time slip away with a WWW roam,
When all of a sudden, Hey, look oer there!
There was this place, this online locale
Of Civ-related info and off-topic powwow.
So I decided to stay,
And make a name for myself.
Itll improve my Civ play,
And maybe Ill find something else.
More than a year has gone by since then,
Many interesting people Ive met.
Some whove been a member since way back when,
Others whove barely used the Net.
Many have helped me along my way,
And the moderating is just super;
Thanks a bunch, Id like to say
To those users whove been such good troopers.
But the most important one of all,
I really must say,
Is none other than the great Thunderfall,
Whose high-quality administrating has never gone astray.
