Oh, the weather outside is...

It's colder in Pittsburgh than it was in DC, by a fairly significant margin. This morning it was frigid in the 30s and then the sun came out at like noon and it was way too hot for my jacket and ugh I just wish it would pick either cold or warm

What's with the weather; it has been raining since yesterday afternoon. The ground is wet and puddles are forming. My newspapers were soaking wet and windshield wipers have to be on something other than intermittent. The trees love it though.

Spring well and truly underway in Canberra. We have a long cold winter by Australian standards (gets below 0 at night, many days don't top 10 degrees) so it's always really nice to hit the sustained warmer weather for a few weeks before it becomes too hot.

About +3C and rain. And just think I've only got 6 more months of this before it gets better!

Our day or so of rain produced 1.75" in our neighborhood. It was slow so it soaked in nicely. The Rio Grande even filled enough to cover its dry spots.

Tuesday, Supertyphoon Yutu is expected to cross northern Luzon. For us down here, this will mean intermittent downpours and blustery winds as the bands pass over.

There was frost yesterday morning, and I had to laugh at one of the articles on my online news site: Ontario is expecting its first snowfall! :run:

Meh. We've had half a dozen by now. :coffee:

It's a balmy day here in Edmonton.

Cold and rainy here.

I'll believe it when i see it. It'll probably end up as rain.

Is that for the whole province or just the populated parts? I know some of the OK panhandle has already received snow, but most of the state hasn't.

Which province, Alberta or Ontario?
Well, I'm from Alberta, and you're from Alberta, but Erika is seemingly from Ontario, so, I guess, by democratic consensus, it must be Alberta. :P

I don't pay a lot of attention to Ontario's weather, unless the Ontario-centric members here indicate there's a problem.

It turned out to be windy today and a bit on the chilly side, so I put off my planned trip to the pharmacy to get a flu shot. I intend to get that done this week, though.

Yutu is weakening. Less wind & rain for me. :w00t:

First snow of the winter here at the weekend - an inch or two of the stuff but mostly melted before the end of the day.
Fairly localised and suspect my town got more than most/all due to it's (relative) altitude - 300m.

It was 2 degrees a couple of days ago here in Cork, Ireland. It's been 6 degrees lately at night. I don't mind if the weather is cold, heck I don't mind some wind and rain. What I don't like at all is ice, it is easy to slip on it.

I am a big man so if I slipped i'd hit the ground hard, i'd get affected more than a small man.

And if you fell on a small man, it would be the worst of both worlds - and possibly contrived into a lawsuit to boot.
