Oh, the weather outside is...

High of 11F today, with wind chills below 0F.
Oh no! *handingcutablanket*

I'm back home at the coast:
48F* and - get this - rain.

It rains here a lot.
I may have mentioned that before.

*Not exactly now. Because: Night. Duh.

A tropical storm/depression is headed our way. The town had vehicles with loudspeakers driving around, broadcasting warnings. That doesn't happen too often.

Rain/flooding seems to be the main concern.

I wore a hoodie over my tee shirt this morning when I went out, but I had to drive with the window open until I got a chance to take it off at my first stop.

Looking nice tomorrow, after a cloudy/chilly week. On Sunday we could get nasty weather--freezing rain/sleet/snow depending on the temperature at the time.

-27C here with the wind chill. A balmy -15C if you're out of the wind.

I'm staying indoors with hot chocolate. :yumyum:

24 hours late, but it's here. Heavy, persistent rain for the last four hours. I just looked on the satellite map & it's about to get worse. Good news = no wind, 26 C.

The past few days were really warm for December, around 13-15° C. Today is dreary, cloudy, gloomy, rainy and windy.

Tropical Depression "AGATON"

It started raining at 6 pm [18:00]. It's now 2 am [02:00]. Rain is so heavy it woke me up. I do believe this is the most rain I've ever been in. I looked at the satellite images; the storm looks to be over around dawn.

Good news: Almost no wind. 24 C. 68 F. Electricity & internet are still on. :goodjob: The last project of my 3-year remodeling was to improve the drainage of me side and back yards.
Bad news: It doesn't take an expert to realize the rice crop is ruined.

According to the Weather Network, the current temperature is -14C. That's not quite 30 degrees warmer than it was over the weekend. I'm a cool-weather person, but this was well out of my comfort zone. I'm still feeling cold, although it's not as bad as it was.

It was even too cold for the King penguins in the Calgary Zoo.

It's supposed to get up to -3C tomorrow afternoon. We'll all die of heat stroke.

Double post.
Posting from my TV as my computer is on holiday getting a new hard drive.
