Onan's multisession G&K, Alternate Reality Game (8pm in Auckland, GMT +13)

@Onan: Thank you and yes, it's nice not to fight again, at least not in this teamed. :) (I was not at my computer when you typed the last two sentences)

I am away Saturday night, but I don't mind if you want to continue with a sub for me.

Sunday could work for me. Others?

I'm not sure yet.

Just curious, why are you remembering the ice storm now?

15th ''anniversary'' that's all :)

And because it was so apocalyptic! Really.

A month without power sounds a little like The Road. In my experience with blackouts, people start getting freaked out within 24-36 hours.

You are comparing living without power to a terrible future with darkness, rape, murder and canibalism? Remind me to not live near you.

:p

:p

We have darkness, rape and murder now.

And I get pretty grumpy when I'm hungry.

:mwaha:

I saw the trailer of that movie and there is really no comparisons that can be done

Just imagine that you live like in the 1800s for a month excepted that instead of riding horses you can ride cars to move around. Disasters are common in this cruel world, but rarely during a winter. No electricity during that time is a real pain in the ass for a lot of people. Fortunately we had a slow burning stove.

A huge amount of ice can destroy things that a mega hurricane can't. Like pylons.

Edit : And millions of tree. What is ironic is that these destroyed trees helped us to heat ourselves during this winter(note that our winter is far more different than australian ones, it's more like Siberia here with temperature droppin at -30 Celsius and lower at some occasions)

Oh, and i will probably play for Sunday :)

Had a big storm here a few years back. Destroyed big parts of forrest in the southern parts of Sweden. People lost power for months aswell, but thats what you get for living in the middle of nowhere. This was not in the middle of winter though fortunally.
You should also know that most of Sweden is mountains and forrest. We're still using the wood from trees that fell duing the storm and it must've been like 10 years ago now.

And I'll try to get up in time. Last week I forgot it completely, luckily we didnt play anyway. :)

Okay, I'll hop on at the time to see if Tab's 'probably' turns into a 'yes'. ;)

I confirm that i can play tonight.

:) thanks

Are we enough to continue?

I think 6?
