A most bizarre finding from our scientific expedition: the Indian civilisation appears to have been swallowed up entirely and replaced with a robotic simulacrum of an empire. Much has happened in the world since the last turning of the leaves. We Songhai have decided that the Egyptians are not worth our time after taking troubling military losses, and instead will hide once more in our Great Southern Ocean. Our military coup has been unable to hold the loyalty of the people and a new coalition government may soon form.
I take back my earlier statement about lack of iron after scouting the Egyptian homelands - it seems of the 4 warmongers on this map I am the only one without iron so I will need to rectify this situation quickly!
@Songhai: things change so quickly that Ramsy realised he should not over-react earlier. The turns were so quiet and peaceful that make Ramsy felt too comfortable to start making noise around the world. Now the real threat is still out there, the world could not withstand another fall apart any more. Ramsy's offer still stands and he wishes Songhai leader could give a clear signal to support the right course that Egyptians are about to take.

If by Roman protection, you mean that Rome has no plans to invade Egypt, then sure...I'll take a look at whatever deal you have offered. But we certainly have no agreement to protect you from anyone else.
