Lee meant the other NES. As far as I know erez is modding and he did not start yet...
 
Game most likly will start today. Families that wrote a nice little history will see their history in their stats and will get some smallish bonuses I promise. With soome luck that i'll have the mind for it today all stats and first update (and thread...) will be posted...
 
Will I get a bonus for inventing the idea and writing the rules? ;)

Now some quastions:
Should I give each of you the first job you got (choosing your rank for the first time) or should I let you vote in first update?

Also I don't see names of families leaders so I most likly will make them up...
 
I think you should leave everything for the first election. On the other hand people would stay longer if they didn't loose the first election and lost interest. Its up to you...
 
We can always find jobs for everybody. We can never run out of titles and offices, its just that the less lucky people will find themselves "Minister of Chicken Security of the Amarus River" and "Proconsul of Verian Bridge". :lol:
 
For beginning units I decided to take Roman early units from RTW (the 3 infantry and equites, archers and beginning stuffs befor Rome is with legions, we won't have to have legions ofcourse)

As said, this is the beginning... Still editing and doing stuff...
I guss family with also have their own industruies that their own people will work in for money making by themselves... It also looks ok cause the stats I'm making right now are without families.

1)got to eat!
2) This stats are not finished, after I make families the number of workers, how much they make, and maybe armies will change. Yes people from a familiy will work and if the senate say so, will be added to Nessos army rather than familiy army.
3) As we grow families could be leaders of a citall by themselves and be like Julii, Brutii and Skipii in RTW...
 
I'd change "garrison" into "military forces" because "garrison" stands for "city garrison". But other than that I'm happy with this thing...

I'd also exclude the army from the total living population. I find it irrelevant. But again its your NES, I just give ideas.
 
Hmm, that will help with not giving them food, like you idea... but than again, from where new troops will be made?
 
From the population. Just as I said before: you increase your army you decrease your population by the amount of people needed for the army. that was the idea. and let me military provide them food.
