<alexman> We had to improve performance to account for the more computationally-intensive AI, but in the end I think it's the same as for Warlords

So.... I heard Soren Johnson is still around, and occasionally giving suggestions to Civ4 designers. Along with some other bits of information, unfortunately nothing very concrete. Aparently we have to contact 2K about the Civ3 code, but I think some people here might have known this already.

How about asking for part of the code, or a small update. I'm sure we could form up a small list of easy-to-fix changes, like setting the improvements/wonders limit to 1024, etc.

^ But I'm afraid the programmers that worked on civ3 might no longer be in the same company, and that others will be afraid to take on such a work of changing a code made by someone else. Not saying it's a bad idea, we should try anything.

The company change was between Civ2 and Civ3, not during Civ3, IIRC
