Open invitation: Join Apolyton as we hold the UN vote of our first Democracy Game!

Greetings from Apolytonia.

I am MrWhereItsAt, former term III and V President of the Apolyton Democracy Game for Civ3 and currently the Term X President.

Just a few minutes ago, we finished the last full-length chat we needed before we build the UN using the motivation of our Hero Na'armer, and submit to vote that we be placed in the position of Supreme power of the planet.

The final chat, where we will buld the UN and hold the vote is tentatively timed at 1800GMT = 1300 EST = 1200 CST = 1000 PST (I believe) on Sunday, 23 March (this Sunday). As President, I cordially invite our sometime rivals, oft-time friends here at CFC to join us for this historic vote. If we are successful, we will go down in history as the first Apolyton team to complete such a task. If we are unsuccessful, we face a quick war to eliminate some of our detractors.

I have to warn you then that mockery may not be your best option, seeing as, if we lose, we will be exterminating one or two of the poxy little civs that caused us to not win the vote, then trying again. During this time we may well have nuclear weapons.

Not to suggest anything, but I would not recommend mockery at what will be to me 6am on a Monday, where we have pinned our hopes on a victory. It might not be pretty.

I know, and I hope you don't take me seriously. EVER. I am in the Roleplay team for the Apolyton internal Play the World teams game, and have got caught up in roleplaying more than once recently.
