Open Spots in NES.

Wikipedia and Games Workshop are great sources for info. Just google 'Warhammer 40k'.

Here's the outline of the forces.

And here's some Ultramarines fighting Tyranids.

Fulton, I have a question for you, can your rules handle a Necron player? I have a soft spot in my heart for the Tomb Kings in Warhammer Fantasy and the Necrons are the closest you can get to them in 40K. :D

Wow, in that picture, it makes you wonder if the humans will ever lose....

"That man is beset at all quarters by traitors, mutants and fiends is self-evident. But in truth none of these evils shall be our undoing. When the end comes it will be not at the hand of any mortal being of this or any other realm: death will come at the hands of the ancients, those who determined our fate aeons before we stood erect upon the holy ground of Terra and gazed up into the starry night."

- Inquisitor Hoth, Second Book of Admonitions

All shall fall.

Thorgrimm,

Sorry, I'm afraid there won't be a Necron player. It would be impossible for you to make good any losses, and you wouldn't be able to capture territory. Plus, be definition everyone but your lords have no personality.

The Necrons and Tyranids and completely NPC and have yet to appear in game (with the exception of the Genestealers Iggy plays). Though there are provisions for their appearance in the game at some point.

Thats the whole point of the Necrons, to turn live worlds into Tomb Worlds. Not occupy them. ;) :D And I think you are forgeting their 'We will be back' power of regeneration.

Thanks for the reply. :)

Not to worry, I shall create the Furians and stop you. *insert evil laugh here* ;)

Furians? Furians? Are you talking about 40k Warhammer, or some intriguing video game?

Dunno what Furians are, but they aren't 40k. Anyways, we should probably take the Warhammer talk over to my OOC thread.

With the next update, there will be several openings in BirdNES 2 from players dropping out.

Why not just go to the thread and look?

I'm too excited, waiting for LuckNES and Cradle of Life updates.

How much longer will your vacation take, in terms of logistics.

The Chronicles of Riddick. It's also technically spelled with a Y.

The Necromongers were a ripoff of the Imperium. The Necrons... are completely different. :p

Logistically I am home, the trains were very delayed and the journey took many hours more than it should.

I will crack on with the update tomorro, aiming for a weekend update.

Can you please finish it by thrusday night? I understand if it isn't possible, but try, please.

Whats the plot line of birdNES2 in short form please.
It is a fresh start on an earth-like world that is in the bronze age. There are three cradles dispersed across a world "cloaked" in blackness. As nations make progress in tech and through time, they will discover the other cradles and the rest of the world. Current turns are 100 years long and about 30 people are playing. The rules are more complicated than most NESes and thoughtful IC play is rewarded. Each cradle has its own thread: the Manonash, the Manipur Coast and the Animas Valley.

Don't you dare play in the Manonash. Play in either of the other cradles please.
