Opening of the Ball-A Confederate Ricky AAR

If the Yankees rejected our demands, what would be our ability to continue to wage war?

if they turned us down I suspect we could hold out for a year before they out produced us and then overwhelmed our armies

The first option, (says the general who has yet to appear).

I do declare, suh, that the intent of this here war was to preserve our Southe'n dignity and our States' rights.

Translation: Independence is enough. :p If you want to get greedy try for Arizona and the small bit of territory, but I think the "all border states" option is out of the question.

so far:

2 for all border
1 for the first option
1 for Independence, however willing to switch to minimum land grab

The Secretary of War proposes that we accept Indepencence, we have no need for Arizona or any of the Western States, they do nothing to help the Union at this moment, and I doubt we will benefit from such a transfer.

The Western states, west of Kansas are all territories, minus California and possibly Nevada, who were granted statehood due to their rich mines.

I believe that if we accept Border states, then those mines in Nevada and California may never even enter our possession anyways. Though I could be wrong.

February 6th, 1866

The Confederacy has finally accepted peace with the Union, following a vote the terms were decided that the CSA needed a buffer in case its northern neighbour got any ideas and therefore all border states were demanded, although a bitter peace the Union found the treaty acceptable enough and agreed to recognize the Confederacy as its own government.

According to the treaty, Washington ended up in the Confederate States of America and the Union was forced to pack up and move the capital to Philadelphia

also following the treaty the United States saw fit to update the flag

while the Confederacy also saw a good time to update the flag once again

All right! Party at the Whitehouse!

We should focus on building up our industry and research.

Are we relocating our capital? Washington seems too close to the border for my liking.

Also why is it that Alberta and Quebec/Northern Ontario look seperate in Canada?

Trust me to turn up to a Confedrate AAR just after tge Civil War's over...
Any vacancies I can fill? Anywhere...?

And just to offer my opinion, for what it's worth (sometimes I dream it's worth a whole two cents) I see nothing wrong with Washington for a capital, the psychological impact is powerful enough- besides have you seen how close Richmond is to Washington? And that had no implications in er, this Civil War...

Post War Update:

-The Confederacy continues to expand its army, increasing the army size by nearly 70%, the Yankees appear to be disbanding some of their divisions on their own, either that or they've sent them away from the border and we just cant see them

-A great European War has broken out, France, Spain, and Austria and assorted German minors have declared war upon Prussia, Italy and other German minors

-Mexico has refused to pay back its debts to Spain and has a result has gone to war with the alliance that appears in the strongest position, France, Austria and Spain

-The Confederacy has been asked to enforce the Monroe doctrine but the president has declared "we're not that suicidal"

Woohoo, a Vicky AAR... First one I saw on these boards.

Build up the military. Those Yanks will not leave us alone for long.
