Well...I made it this far...and I still have 1/2 of France. I suspect that it will not take as long for the other part of the continental cities to fall

No, actually we bombarded a couple of tiles that the Germans own. Unfortunately, most of our bombers are gone and most of our artillery has been captured. This is one of the hazards of playing the French. They have been set up, generally, to lose.

Clearly Der Fuhrer did not realize (or truly appreciate) the combat capabilities of Resistance Guerillas. They have stealth attack; this means that they can select their targets. The turncoat sympathizers in the Balkans and Norway discovered this the hard way!
News from France: The evil Spanish have discovered that Germany and Italy only wanted the Spanish as a diversion so that they could pick on others while Spain bore the brunt of the Allied wrath! This has resulted in the Spanish being kicked out of North Africa! Meanwhile, French forces are still fighting against stiff German and Italian attacks into our homeland.
Casualties:
Germany: 2 workers
Spain: 1 Rifleman, Tangiers

Some french invaders got what they deserved near Barcelona. We attack the french infantry with a tank.

Tubruq: Artillary x2 bombards, fighter bombards
Tank(3) attack 4 times destroying 4 British Infantry units leaving only injured units left to continue the fight.
Marseilles bombarded. Units injured and pop point taken. Also the railroad was destroyed and the infantry unit reduced to one hit point on that square.
The Italian command hopes to be able to annouce the first victory against the French in April whilst it is believed that the English will now need to wait for a new offensive before being able to take Tubruq.

Decided to see how the scenario plays out in single player and choose Russia so that I could wait 10 turns before entering the war but it has largely been easy to push back the Germans, with 5 or 6 cities fallen in the Romanian region, Warsaw and 3 other cities to the north and Helsinki. France has one mainland city left though... I might continue the game until Berlin falls.

Although the German Military has lost several units, especially Panzers, they are sure that they can with stand the two front war that they are about to face as the British invade Spain and the Soviets have now declared war. For some reason the Soviets did not invade German territory and German High Command doubts that they have the military power to take and German Cities.
As for are Ally Italy, we are glad that they are outside the city of Marseilles and wish them good luck in the upcoming battle. However, we are deeply upset with his last post... Don't you know anything about propaganda? The Germans you defeated were the AI who is by far inferior to myself... They do not properly use artillery and probably sent forth a few seperated groups of panzers. The mighty German nation will throw back the Soviet invaders.

Yeah the AI sucks at fighting and should really be winning if it used any kind of bombardment since they have heavy tanks whilst I am still using standard tanks. Yet now Berlin could be the next northern city to fall as I have a 1 tile border.
