I humbly suggest that the following features be added, in order to cut down on grunt work:
-Allow auto renewal of trade routes.
-Give an option to have all new traders appear in one selected city.
-Let players have the computer select routes for each trader, if desired, based on criteria chosen by the player (domestic vs foreign, food or production, etc).
This would cut down on a lot of fruitless effort.
