I'm hoping one of our Dutch-speakers could translate this for me. I pushed it through Google, but there were some ambiguities :)

Where did you get this from? Sounds like a very strange story to me. Especially since it doesn't quote any sources, and is also very vague about the what and when. Also, the first line suggests that it was not an operation by the AIVD, but that it directed some third party to do it...

Rough translation:

"Over the past years the Dutch Intelligence Service AIVD had a ultrasecret operation performed in Iran, with as target the infiltration and sabotage of the weapons industry in the islamic republic.

[...]

One of the agents managed to infiltrate the Iranian industry under the supervision of the AIVD and was recently recalled because the USA allegedly decided to attack Iran with unmanned aircraft within a few weeks. The potential targets comprise, it is said, not only nuclear factories, but also military installations that the AIVD's operation helped to map out. Sources claim that the information from this operation was shared with the CIA over the past years.

Also, several deliveries could be sabotaged and stopped. This concerned parts for missiles and launchers.
"

Thanks Zyxy :)

This is a topic of discussion at one of the arms-control websites I follow. The author of the post included a translation, but I find it's always a good idea to get a second opinion ;)

A great idea for an online game I just encountered here in Germany:

Your character is a beggar in Hamburg (or any other town I guess) and you can collect money, bottles, steal and fight, have a pet and develop your skills.
You should get drunk regularly (or you'll get into a bad mood) and clean yourself on occasion.

I think a translation for the world is in progress so we can meet in the streets of Liverpool or LA one day ;)
Moving your home is quite expensive though...

For now I'd be happy if you made a donation for my ambitioned beggar (by hitting the picture), free of charge for you of course - but you won't get a donation recipe either :p

A thanks. ;)

My hamster is under my special protection. I'm surprised you even saw him. :dubious:
He increases my combat values even though I'm fighting with 2.65 %0 alcohol in blood...
but at least I'm feeling fine

@ Paul. I donated 0.91 Euros. :D
{I think that's what this ... Du hast €0.91 in VetterPaul's Becher geworfen!... means anyway!}

And I left your hamster alone!

I also just saw this today:

Aigburth took Gold position in the last gauntlet with his 1250BC Small Warlord Domination victory. His entry represents the fastest domination victory outside of tiny map games in the HOF.
Nice work Aigburth! Congrats!

Aye, great work Aigburth!
I never really got anywhere near a decent result in that gauntlet...

Reportedly? Where? A google search for "xs.to" + trojan turns up nothing of note. :hmm:

I bet it's an ad that does it, and that a good adblocker takes care of the problem as usual...

:hmm: could be. I got a warning message from my browser that the site attempted to install malware.

I use google's chrome beta. Mostly because downloading my saves, and the reopening the browser to send them on, is so speedy compared to firefox.

The new BtS MTDG is starting up, and I'd love to welcome any willing Councillors to Team 5 :please:

The game is going to be quite a challenge, as just about every active player from the first cIV MTDG signed up for Team 3 - including Automatic Teller and General_W.

So c'mon! Help out a fellow Councilman, and we'll take Automatic Traitor and General Wimp to school :trouble: ;)

Active member of the cIV MTDG? I joined two weeks before the end of the game and I think I made one post!!! maybe.

But I highly recommend playing and finding a team - I don't even have BtS - Civ IV is different enough that being on a MTDG team would be interesting, even if you've never played it!

That's it Peter!
You just earned Team 5 the number one spot on Team 3's "Utterly Destroy" list! :ar15:

;)

Bah. Neither Team 3 or Team 5 has anything on Team 4. Team 4 is the new black. :cooool:

Congratulations also go to Aigburth for winning the last gauntlet with a 1515AD 20K Demigod victory.
[party] Way to go Aigburth! Congrats!

Now... I expect you to pull us out of the fire here with Saber! ;)

Merry chrismas to everybody! :)
