...I'm so lost.

If anything I'd argue that the Qing should get Peking if they ever get made - its an older, outdated romanisation which would have been most widely used during the time of the Qing emperors, not the 50s.

To be fair, it was used for a loooong time. My atlas, published 1985, still lists the capital as Peking, without any parentheses even for Beijing.

Well yeah, but the Chinese postal map romanization, from which we get 'Peking' was used by the Qing dynasty. Mao likely wouldn't have been as happy with broken romanisations.

Okay sorry doc I forgot you did the cities. We'll be using those. As far as romanizations go I don't like Peking. Especially for a civ focused on nationalism. It'll stay Beijing. Another civ might, but not mine. Okay, I'll check that off the list!

Hay how come Stasi replaces constabulary instead of national intelligence agency. I know your aganist unique national wonders but if anything deserve to replace the national intelligence agency it's the Stasi but if you still want the Stasi to replace the constabulary, i'l accept that.

I was just translating the Chinese. If I translate Kaden Kojo literally I get Consumer Electronics this Office. That's probably a really bad translation but it should mean something along those lines.

The Kaden Kojo is representing Japan's consumer electronics industry. Robotics are included in that.

Sorry for the dead time - been really busy lately. The good news is that Mao is inching toward completion. I am done with finals on Friday and I hope to have the mod done in short order after that. In the meantime, does anyone have any good ideas for Chinese spies? We can have just generic names but given the volume of Chinas that there will be it would be nice to differentiate.

Also, I want to talk about Venezuela. I am quite happy with the design as it stands, although I think the Military University should a) maybe be renamed to differentiate from the Military Academy. I could do Officer's School or something and b) I think I will add an effect where you get some culture for training a unit. Thoughts?
