Paradigms

I can think of plenty of paradigms, but the examples given would appear to be palindromes. If that's what you meant then you'll have to get a mod to change the thread title.
A paradigm is a model or pattern followed by others.
A palindrome is a word or phrase that can be read the same from both sides of the page.

I know a few, that are cheesy:
First words spoken on earth?
"Madam, I'm Adam"
Others:
"A man. A plan. A canal. Panama!"
"Was it a bat I saw?"
All good. But if anyone comes out with limp ones like:
"Deirdre wets altar of St. Simons - no mists, for at last ewer dried"
I shall become wrathful.

"Satan, oscillate my metallic sonatas." - Stephen Fry

Probably the only pallindrome to employ the word "oscillate"

Ah, the old bait and switch. I tune in for the priceless wisdom my fellow fanatics can offer, and get......palindromes. :(

Yes, but you get a pallindrome with "oscillate" in it.:p

Well, I gues you just can't put a price tag on that. 'Course, if I use that in any type of daily conversation they will bring back stoning. ;)

I was actually hoping you might congratulate me for saying, "priceless wisdom my fellow fanatics can offer" with a straight face. ;)
