Just check the front page, when the patch is out, it'll be there.
Assuming, of course, we haven't moved on to a technology more advanced than computers by then.

My patch makes no changes to the savegame format; I've intentionally kept it that way, so it's fully capable with 3.00 or 3.02/3.03 saves. And those will be compatible with 3.13, though there will be no backward compatibility.
I think it does, and if if you still disagree then feel free to go ahead and nitpick what "90%" means. You know, whatever. I'm kind of done with this whole controversy.
No need to nitpick, the numbers are there.I think it does, and if if you still disagree then feel free to go ahead and nitpick what "90%" means. You know, whatever. I'm kind of done with this whole controversy.

was it a password protected MP game or had the lock modified assets flag set? This would make it impossible...Someone sent me a savegame made using your patch. I was unable to open the save with the default dll, I had to install yours to get it to load properly. So I'm not entirely sure your patch is backwards compatible either, or, at least, my experience seems to suggest it might not be.

I don't believe he did. People put words in his mouth, and then blamed him for it. How crappy is that?Silly alexman, he broke one of the cardinal rules of developers: Don't give a firm date for patches...![]()
Really? I've been playing quite a bit lately and haven't run into any loops. What exactly is happening? I'm curious, now.I use Solver's patch, and it's good, but my major 'issue' is that 2 of my games (of about 10 started) have been stopped by infinite loops. Solver's patch doesn't resolve this.
Or, it might mean that 90% of the effort. Not all issues are created equal. Some issues take 2 seconds to fix. Some take 2 weeks of solid work.No need to nitpick, the numbers are there.
90% ought to mean that 9 out of every 10 issues were fixed.
Never said it was an "end all".An admirable fix, but not nearly the end all be all you claim.
Yeah thanks Firaxis for bustin' yer hump to get us those kewl new BTS wallpapers - collect the entire set!!! Those will tide me over while I don't play BTS...
Come on, UPDATE? Looks like tomorrow, but may not be? Definitely not tomorrow? Go eff ourselves? I should go load one of my BTS saves that HANGS at the end of turn, and see which one finishes first, the patch of the infinite BTS loop.
Jeez...
