No, it doesn't. What I meant is that it's too late to stop the idiots from using computers, too many of them are into it already. So my crusade for Unix over Windows/Mac is resigned to the ash heap of history. My comment about the atrophy of my own Unix skills was just a postscript to that.

Yes, but I am used to them, they are everywhere and they outnumber the wise in an even higher ratio than PCs outnumber Macs. The world is full of those who like the acceptance and false security they feel from going along with the crowd and bashing those who don't. Whatever system people use is fine with me.
