As you know I spend more time at Wiki than I do at message boards these days.

Do you think public and private discussions are too temporary to enjoy anymore? What would be a more permanent answer besides the same discussions over and over again?

If you're never going to give up on your permanent solution the discussion ends. And it's time to take business elsewhere.

I think either there's a language barrier or you've been hitting the bottle this afternoon.

I'm trying to find a reason to stay here. It's all the same speculating/lies to me.

I'm the kind of person who lets the truth ruin it. And since you'd close my discussions on finding out the truth, I don't see a reason to donate to civ fanatics.

Then don't "donate" to Civfanatics. Leave. It'll be a struggle, I know, but I'm sure we'll all find a way to move on with our lives and get over our despair at your departure. Or you could always "donate" to me. I like money.

As with every post of yours I have ever seen, I have not a damn clue what you are on about. Please, for the love of Yahweh, at least try to make some sense when you post! Otherwise, you're not just wasting our time when we try to figure out what you're on about, but your own time in trying to get your message, whatever the hell that is, across. your threads aren't being closed because of some conspiracy theorist search for the truth type reason, but because they're frigging incomprehensible. If no-one knows what the frig you're on about, how can we possibly discuss it?

Has anyone ever asked you to donate to Civfanatics? Or do you mean donate in a non-literal sense, like your time?

I propose we turn every Millman thread into a Macro Amnesty thread.

These discussions here, are more permanent than the ones we have in everyday life. These are in writing, and won't disappear for a long time.

I think it should be a rule to ban people who are incomprehensible on such a regular basis. I mean, honestly, I have no idea what the hell Millman or r16 are saying. Ever.

I get more sense from my four-month old daughter, and that's not intended as an insult. I simply understand that when my daughter says "Al Gore" she wants Futurama put on the dvd player, and "agawaga" means 'feed me, you self-centred lazy git of a father. Stop screwing around with that bib, and stick a damn bottle in my gob.'

I do not understand what Millman or r16 are saying or meaning, ever. And I don't think it's a language barrier, since I understand posters like eoc just fine. They just don't make sense when they post. And in Millman's case, seem to blame us for not understanding them.

Well I don't think you're being honest about the nature of the permanent discussion. You can take business elsewhere but that doesn't negate its permanence. Whereas with the public discussion you can have a permanent answer to a public discussion but isn't that just a momentary discussion?

Now its interesting that you bring up wikipedia. If you edit that doesn't the truth ruin it? But surely thats only a momentary solution until someone else edits it. So is any discussion really permanent? Is any discussion really a discussion, or just speculation? But wikipedia is user edited, doesn't that make it mere discussion, or rather permanent speculation, ie LIES.

I don't know, I think you've opened up a real can of worms here Millman. Stimulating stuff.

Look, please understand that I am not trying to insult you. And take this to heart. Your written English skills are poor. We are willing to have a conversation with you. But you must improve the way you write first. Otherwise we simply cannot understand you well enough to make good answers.

As someone who regularly has to communicate in a foreign language, Turkish in my case, I can understand how it's difficult to make yourself understood but if you're using google translator or something it's better to just try to use your own words.
