Actually played till HBR has only one turn left, I wanted to get opinions from the group so I figured Rex could take over for me
IT 975 BC everything looks good, hit enter.
950 whipped working in York for 2 pop
925 started road to Ivory with new worker, continued roading London to York with the other one
-started Barracks in York, it was only 11 turns and I figured with Always War and Raging Barbs you can't go wrong with promoted units
-put research at 100% - HBR due in 13 at -10 per turn, we have 150g to cover it... in retrospect I probably could have done this one turn sooner, but I guess we will have extra cash instead of the tech a turn earlier
-MM York to increase growth from 6 to 9 turns, decrease barracks from 11 to 8 turns... York was at happy cap presently so preferred to get barracks sooner and let growth wait
IBT Barb axe attacks our archer, who triumphs, proudly waving the English colours
-Archer in our borders attacks London, we win but our archer is hurt: 1.3/3
900 fortified archer that finished in London there for additional capital defense
-started another archer, London is at happy cap but the archer will finish before growth and it will allow food to store, plus he can be the escort for the settler we will need
-sent chariot by York to help Biz spawnbust as the north seemed pretty visible
875 nothing noteworthy happening here
850 shuffling some units in response to barbarian activity
825 2 chariots running sentry duty in the south, other chariot still migrating through German fields to help spawnbust
-had worker take a break from roading to rebuild the pig pen that the barbarians had pillaged
800 started the pasture
-London completes archer, begins settler for the deer/corn/gold site
-sent newly trained archer to that site to hold the territory
775 moved chariot out by Biz and found that the barbs have settled in
750 started 1st ivory camp, noted that York has trade with Nottingham
725 York completes barracks, begins worker... has only one turn to grow but was already at happy cap, started the worker till either the camp finishes or whip anger cools then can suspend to allow growth to complete if desired
-moved chariot to check out Barbville
-they have not been slack in their defenses
700 fortified archer on our future city spot
-sent chariot back to the south to spawnbust where there was no city built yet
675 nothing to note
650 good news, Boudica has both copper and iron hooked up and has been working on axemen and Gallic Warriors
-bad news, Monte is on the offensive
-started the London worker building a road to connect the pigs, will finish in 3 turns
-one of the barb archers plagueing Germany apparently decided that it might be more lucrative to harass us, and has approached our borders
Decided to stop here-
HBR completes next turn
Ivory camp will be finished in 2
There is currently an opportunity to whip the settler in London for 2 pop w/10 overflow but I was not sure whether we would want to decrease our capital's population that much at this time. With the pigs pastured again it might not be too bad but will leave that for the group to decide
All chariots in the south have full movement available before this turn is ended
After the current settler/worker builds complete we will probably need to switch to pumping military, glad the barracks finished in York, but so far that is our only city with barracks
Hope that was ok for my first turnset in an SG

Also hope these pics show up, haven't tried this before...
Well after recruiting some help since I didn't know what I was doing (which remains obvious by the incorrectly cropped images

) I was able to enter the correct links so they show up (thanks kossin

)
Here is the save ~
