France now gets +1:c5capital:GGeneral/GAdmiral point and +1 :c5culture: Culture for each subsequent attack stacked on a target each turn. this is in addition to the existing 10% attack
 
Sakoku now allows incoming trade routes if you have a TR or an embassy with the other civ.
unassigned TRs GPRate increased from 10% to 15%
 
I don’t PDan is modding right now, so it could be a long time, if ever, before it’s updated, especially since it’s a personal tweaks mod. Someone else is pretty unlikely to pick it up
 
@pineappledan do dirigibles use recon unitcombats? OP text suggests you've assigned them to some other unitcombat, but recon pay player reports they are affected by my SQL that removes ignore -- possible I just need more conditionals in the SQL. Just hoping to confirm which unitcombat they use here to understand what I need to catch for over there
 
I tried implementing via the helicopter unit combat to no avail. They are scout units.
 
thats all i need to know -- i'll take a look directly at some point but assuming they're flagged as hover units i should be able to carve them out of the sql update.

what were the specific issues you ran into with helicopter? Many years ago i played around with it and it seemed to work -- is that no longer the case? I was kinda keeping it back of mind for revival at some point -- there are a lot of helicopter models on the forums here...
 
Maybe I just implemented it badly or something, but my attempt broke for some reason or another. I think the animations didn't work.

iirc this was the problem if an entirely new unitcombat was defined -- but helicopter used to work. pretty sure one of my early mods swapped the zep over successfully -- eventually the entire promo line was annihilated though. Anyway will revisit eventually, fingers crossed its still available.

edit: as I'm looking through your sql here, I'm seeing a few stubs of "unitcombat_airship" -- I'm gonna give it a shot hooked up to helicopter instead, I think it will work...

edit 2: it seems they're deployed as unitcombat_airship in the version i just downloaded from OP, and indeed attack animations aren't working!

Compatibility is tricky here cuz they're unitcombat_recon and also domain_land -- from compatibility perspective, it would be ideal if they could be unitcombat_helicopter, and failing that, at least domain_hover. Was there a reason domain_hover was not used? Another database category that appears to sit unused.

I can imperfectly identify them cuz they use moverate = wheeled and no other recon does -- but if some other modder made wheeled recon i may break compatibility the other way. I can also identify them individually, which I'll probably do for now since there's only 3, but this is not what i'd prefer to do generally.

Anyway @pineappledan I wonder if you're interested in developing these dirigibles further? Do you have a preference between domain_hover and unitcombat_helicopter as far as possible directions? I think the main difference would be that helicopter, if it worked, would allow/require a completely separate promo line. I'd rather not make a separate dirigibles mod, what I'll do is just post an add-on here if I'm able to find anything workable.

edit: so ignore some of the above -- the version I D/L'd from OP uses unitcombat_airship and the animations are indeed broken as I'm testing right now. We need to switch all the unitcombat_airship to unitcombat_helicopter and everything will be good again

edit 2: some false assumptions led me here, turns out caym's mod was at issue, not this one -- but I do think it would be worth swapping airship to helicopter

edit 3: i tested as follows
  1. commented out line 90-92 of zeppelin.sql
  2. in same file, did replace all on unitcombat_airship for unitcombat_helicopter
Some text references break by doing this, but it does fix the animations... highly recommend updating this to unitcombat_helicopter
