I mean, I think the pledge should have the phrase removed and still be said. That's my opinion :)

I read in the Boston Globe today that not only did President Bush call the pledge ruling "ridiculous," but he also said that judges such as the 2 who constituted the majority opinion in this ruling should be replaced by "common-sense" judges. Apparently his idea of a judge is someone who does not follow the Constitution at all, and instead follows his own personal ideas of what is correct.
 
Hell, there goes the government of laws not men.
It started when Congress ceded the right to declaration of war to the President, the right to declare any nation rogue and attack at will, then there were the special powers, the secret tribunals, and now Bush just wants to replace all judges who follow the Constitution before his constituents.

I feel the ridiculous urge to say I told you so, but that wouldn't help the debate any now would it?
