PLXNES5 - And you thought it was dead...

Asia knows of Europe vaguely, while only rumors of a rich and plentiful land to the East exist in Northern Europe.

- The Iron Ships of Kwangju -

It is a great day within the glorious Kwangju Confederation, our noble enginneers, greatest within the known world, have constructed a Marveleous new vessel, the Kwangju Kobukson. The Kwangju is an improvement off of the standard first rate ships, but it is one big improvement, more of a revolution than evolution. Half of it is covered in iron. Yes, you heard us right, covered in Iron.

The Kobukson doesn't have an open deck. Instead, its top deck is covered by a roof of iron plates supported by wood underneath, and it is laced with iron spikes to discourage boarding attacks from enemy vessels. The sails stand on small wooden platforms extending up from the iron plates, where men can draw them out, during battle they are rolled up and the men rush into their iron decks.

Because the iron causes the boat to become significantly slower and heavier, they cannot carry as much guns as the first rates, and only carry around 90-100 cannon. This makes up for the loss of speed somewhat, but the ships are still slow compared to their wooden counterparts.

This has been called a revolution within the confederation's naval ministry, and Admirals eagerly wait for these ships to be created, meanwhile they occupy themselves by exploring the smaller prototypes and checking the new ship designs for any faults. The First vessels, the Izanagi and Izanami, are expected to be set out to sea next year, perhaps with others aswell.

OOC: General note to all players - you probably have trade with most nations around you. You don't need to ask for it.

OCC: Ok, now if you would only fully explain how the trade system works.
