That was great! What was that? Were we trying to elect the new Holy Roman Emperor of CFCOT?(looks like RRW is emperor in the second image) Eitherway you forgot Garbage Day.

Let's be real. Eastern Europe is just a euphemism for Unimportant Europe. The "west" Europe consists of the post-imperial states and Western powerhouses. You can draw silly lines all you want, but the Eastern vs. Western Europe distinction is one of historical precedence not geography. Everyone pretty much knows this, and the reason this Poland garbage always comes up is because Poles want to make sure people think they're on the "cool side," which is a completely counterproductive action, whereas sane western Europeans usually don't give a crap what people think about their respective nations and usually are the ones bewailing their own countries. So pretty much you can tell Eastern Europeans from "western" Europeans by their constant inferiority complex and misplaced nationalism, while wests Euros realize they don't have to derive their personal identity from where they were born. Given this it's pretty obvious which side Poland is on.

I think it has more to do with most people's prejudiced opinion about Poland being some small inferior country that get's invaded millions of times, the 'opposition' is just trying to say that 'Hey, Poland was big mighty strong and quite a bit of a force one time.' It's not about inferiority complex.
Why would we not be on that 'Cool' side? We are Catholic, Western Europe is Catholic, We are Western, Western Europe is Western, We use Roman Alphabet, Western Europe uses Roman Alphabet, Our trade was primarially with Western Europe, Western Europe's trade was with Western Europe, We were 'friends' with several Western European nations, Culturally we are closer to Western European cultures than we are to Eastern, and the list goes on and on!
The only arguement's you guys have came up with are...
"But Poland is Eastern Europe!!! I learned it in School!"
Your teacher was raised during the Communist times. During that time we were part of the Warsaw Pact thus
aligned (key word, aligned) with the East. Besides we were enforced to do so by the Russians, because our good friends to the west ditched us.
"But Poland was part of the Warsaw Pact and was Communist!!!"
So what? That was one part of our history, we were enforced to do so by the Russians because you guys ditched us. That doesn't change our culture or history though. Before the cold war we were Central European, and 20 years have passed since the fall of communism. 2 decades. Makes sense to be Central European, no?
"But you are slavic, all slavs are in Eastern Europe!"
Slavic isn't like Romantic, or Germanic. Slavic groups are fairly far apart. Slavic languages within a group have trouble speaking to each other (Polish to Czech is like Portuguese to Romanian).
There are 3 slavic groups within Slavs. Western (poles) Eastern (ruskies) and Southern (serbs)
Each of these groups are fairly far apart. Maybe not as much as Romantic and Germanic languages but it is getting to there. Russian is absolute Gibberish with only very few proto-slavic words like 'No' that are somewhat similar. Likewise if i compare Polish to Serbian or Bulgarian. I could not understand anything my exgirlfriend said in Serbian.
The only exception to this rule is Ukrainian spoken by true Ukrainians (not watered down ukrainian russians) And that is because of Centuries of Polish dominance introducing many Polish words to the Ukrainian language. It happened with Lithuanian to.
"But UN considers it part of Eastern Europe, look at the map!"
The UN also considers France to be a dominant power and a big player. Besides who says they are right anyway? They probably haven't updated the map since the UN formed to, so I'm not surprised if they stick with ancient definitions from the Cold War.

Outside of those 4 questions which have all been answered, nobody has came up with a good reason that Poland is not Central European.
