I mean its not like we can make scenarios
Hehe. Very true. I'm thinking of testing something where I try and force nations to team up on another group of nations. This is what im going to do. Set Team A (3 nations. I'll just call each nation A1, A2 and A3) to have their favoured goverments as Democracy and shunned as Communism, and be of European culture group. A1 has oil and furs, A2 has rubber and gems, and A3 has Aluminium and wines.
Then theres Team B. Favoured Gov. Communism, shunned Gov. Democracy, culture group - American. B1 has oil and furs, B2 has rubber and gems and B3 has aluminium and wines. I will also, change the requirements for the more advanced units to require all three resources (just to force it that extra bit)
I want to see how the alliances will form. Of course, location will have alot to do with it so i may try and place civs next to the ones I want them to war with.
This is a pretty poor way of doing things tho. Having a proper Diplomacy options would be much better.
O yeah. I think the patch is good in that it improves on 1.21 and fixes many issues...... But as a "final" patch (i.e. you HAVE to buy PTW to get any other game play/editor improvements), i think its pretty poor. This is what I have going through my head. To get the diplomacy function in the editor (just one example), I have to buy PTW, and any patches that may be released after PTW, will require PTW. I don't like that idea, as I may not buy PTW (undecided

)
