  • [HOLY]:
    • El Ghriba: removed Flat requirement;
    • Prophet's Mosque: removed Flat requirement;
    • Hagia Sophia: removed Forest requirement;
    • Borobudur: removed Plains requirement;
    • St. Basil: removed River requirement;
    • (planned) St. Peters: removed River requirement;
    • (planned) Meenakshi: removed no Coast requirement;
  • [POLICY]:
    • (T) University of Sankore: removed no Tundra/Snow and Flat requirement;
    • (T) Golden Dagon Pagoda: removed Jungle requirement;
    • (T) Notre Dame: removed Lumber Mill requirement;
    • (P) Wartburg: removed Hill requirement;
    • (P) Falun Mine: removed Lake requirement;
    • (P) Forbidden Palace: removed Flat requirement;
    • (Au) Alhambra: removed Fresh Water requirement;

    • (F) Red Fort: removed Flat requirement;
    • (F) (planned) Golden Pavilion: changed Lake to Fresh Water;
    • (F) (planned) Solovietsky Monastery: removed not Desert and Flat requirements;
    • (S) (planned) Kilwa Kisiwani: substituted all resources with Mine/Camp(3) requirement;
    • (S) (planned) Old Bridge: nothing;
    • (Ar) Uffizi: nothing;
    • (I) (planned) Peterhof: removed Iron requirement;
Reason for:
  • Goebekli Tepe: no Stone or Marble means useless bonus. That's why I moved science to Mountains which stayed as requirement and made Stone bonus lower, but global.
  • Wieliczka: deleting Salt requirement means that City will have 1 Salt in worst case. Therefore bonus to Salt can be neglected. Adding one more Salt makes it more useful. Also decided to add unique :c5food: to mine bonus. But this would make Salt little to op so moved base :c5production: and :c5gold: yields to it and removed :c5food:bonus from.
  • Lavaux: adding Wine made this wonder happiness monster (2 luxuries, 2 bas happ, -15% needs). Reduced other to to compensate added Wine.
Now each Holy Wonder has only one oher requirement and Policy Wonders have 2. All requirements are realtively easy to achieve (removed those most problematic.
Check unofficial v0.5.5 update on Github. All changes added to "Wonder Distribution" and op of the thread. Inform me about any mistakes in tooltips or wrong requirements

Once again thanks to @SolutionIt.

Seems good all around.

Just double-checking, but the limitation of being able to build only one of the three policy finisher wonders is/should be there, ya? (And the accompanying reminder text in the policy tree finisher text.) Funnily enough I originally disliked this limitation in the original mod, but it does allow making said wonders more impactful when a player can only have one of the three. It also means that if you're slightly behind you have better odds of a policy wonder when the tech/policy leader can't make all of them.

Limitation 1 of 3 possible stayed. In base mod it was 1 of 2. I also reworked tooltip in policy screen.

I was also about taking Desert of Karnak? Thoughts?

Did refresh of ideology wonders, because it was left with holes after recent conversation:

Industrial Era:

  • [I-FREEDOM-"Treaty Organization (Diplomatic)"] Orszaghaz (Hungary)
Modern Era:
  • [I-FREEDOM-"Arsenal of Democracy (Domination)"] Statue of Liberty (USA)
  • [I-ORDER-"Iron Curtain (Domination)"] Motherland Calls (Russia)
  • [I-AUTOCRACY-"Cult of Personality (Cultural)"] Prora (Germany)
  • [I-FREEDOM-"Media Culture (Cultural)"] Hollywood (USA)
  • [I-ORDER-"Dictatorship of Proletariat (Cultural)"] Palace of Soviets (Russia)
  • [I-AUTOCRACY-"Total War (Domination)"] Sanbō Honbu (Japan)
Atomic Era:
  • [I-FREEDOM-"Space Procurements (Scientific)"] JFK Space Center (USA)
  • [I-ORDER-"Spaceflight Pioneers (Scientific)"] Sputnik (Russia)
  • [I-ORDER-"Nationalization (Diplomatic)"] Kijong-dong (North Korea)
  • [I-AUTOCRACY-"Tyranny (Diplomatic)"] Anitkabir (Turkey)
  • [I-AUTOCRACY-"Military-Industrial Complex (Scientific)"] (Tehran) Nuclear Research Center
Few thought about the changes:
  • resigned from Palace of Culture and Science because it was already a National Wonder;
  • moved Autobahn (transportation wonder) as well as Trans-Siberian Railway from policies and ideologies;
  • added new Sanbo Honbu, Kijong-dong, JFK Space Center, (Tehran) Nuclear Research Center;
  • better spread through eras;
  • better spread through nations:
    • Freedom (Hungary, 3xUSA);
    • Order (North Korea, 3xRussia)
    • Autocracy (Iran, Turkey, Japan, Germany)
If you have some other ideas, share.

Seeing that there is quite an unbalanced number of landmarks favouring Russia in Order in contrast to the spread out wonders of autocracy, I have some ideas?

Maybe The Independence Palace (in Vietnam)
It's a historical site which used to be a palace for the French Colonial Government, later on, became South Vietnam cental political building where the South Vietnamese government ran the country through the Vietnam war till North Vietnam invaded and forced the south to sign the peace treaty here.

Another could be Thich Quang Duc Monument (also in Vietnam)
It's a monument of a monk who self-immolates himself (set himself on fire) to protest against the South Vietnam Government for their rule especially against Buddhist. This had an impact around the world as it caused more tension between the US and South Vietnam, gave a worse light to South Vietnam compared to the North and used as propaganda in countries such as China about the horrid US and their colonial expansion.

Another one could be The Great Hall of the people (in China)
This is the place where their national people congress is held and where state leaders hold their meetings

A final one also in China is the Memorial Hall of Chairman Mao/Mausoleum of Mao Zedong
This one should be quite self-explanatory; it's the resting hall of Mao Zedong. It has two groups of clay figure to represent the 2 core periods of communist China, New Democracy Period and the Socialist Construction period. The construction of this building emphasises on Maoism on how everyone even peasants in every part of China is important and equal (having about 700,000 people from around China to help with the construction I think) and having materials built only from the various province in China (They even used water and sand from the straits of Taiwan to emphasize China's claim over Taiwan)

Well Italy is already well represented but how about:

_ Venetian Arsenal (Medieval Era) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Venetian_Arsenal:

3 :c5culture: and 3 :c5science: every sea trade route
  • 2 :c5greatperson: GEP;
  • 2 :trade: Sea Trade Routes
  • +20% :c5production: to Naval Military Units and Cargo Ships;
  • free :c5greatperson: Great Admiral;
  • +5 supply cap

Coastal, require Harbor built in city, (Iron as resource ?).

It was the pinnacle of Venetian power in the Mediterranean around 1450 AD. It gave Venetia military power (+5 supply cap flat) through production (hence +20 % on Naval units), visibility ( +3 culture) and research (+3 Science and +2 Great Engineer).

Dear adan_eslavo, I like Solutionit's proposals but for these two wonders

Lavaux:
  • substituted Wine with 3 Plantation requirement;

It seems strange to me to need coffee or bananas (plantations) to be able to build Lavaux. I think a lake and a mountain would be more Swiss. Or, kind of like your idea for Buddhas of Bamyan, X embassies or one Friendship treaty, very Swiss and peaceful conditions.

Colossus: substituted Copper with Iron;

Colossus of Rhodes is definitely a Bronze Age wonder and Copper (by ownership or exchange) stay a better idea I think, or perhaps, a lighthouse in the city (fairly correlated with winning a trade route)

For the moment, there are no Oceanian wonders yet.

What would you think of adding :

Ahu Tongariki (most important platform of moai) or Rano Raraku (career)
  • Stone and coast restriction
  • +1:c5faith:, +1:c5culture:, +1:c5production: by seaside tile
  • +1:c5food: by coast tile
  • Tern egg : luxury resource
And/or :

Marae Arahurahu of Paea

  • +5 XPs by Greatwork of art in the city (Unu)
  • +30:c5faith: by their own units killed
  • +30:c5culture: when kill enemy units
  • give a promotion which causes fear to enemies or a bonus to archers (there is always an archer platform next to a marae)

I don't know if you are aware of the fact Venice has already Arsenale di Venesia as its unique NW.

You are probably right. There's no mountain wonders in later era so I will add mountains to Lavaux. The problem of lighthouse is that it is on the other side of tech tree. Iron is Strategic resource and it is more common to have it than Copper. If we resigned from Wine and Salt, then Copper is next on the list.

I thought about it a bit and if you keep the idea of Marae, you can give :
  • 3:c5greatperson: of Musician per turn (prince of Arahurahu, Tu-mata-ira was a good singer)
  • replace Greatwork of Art by Greatwork of Music for XPs bonus
  • Free emplacement for Greatwork of music (Tahiti have ōteʻa tane dance considered to be war dance)
just for fun :

What about:

  • Marae Arahurahu of Paea (French Polynesia)
  • 1 :c5faith:;
  • 1 :c5war: Military Supply Cap
  • 1 :c5greatperson: GMusP;
  • 5 XP per local :greatwork: Great Work to Land and Naval units in this City;
  • 1 slot for :greatwork: Great Work of Music;
  • all Land and Naval Units: "15 :c5culture: from killed enemy Units" (Arahurahu);
  • all Ranged Units: "+10 :c5strength: CS" (Marae);
  • Ahu Tongariki (Chilean Eastern Island)
  • 1 :c5food: on Coast;
  • 1 :c5culture: and 1 :c5faith: on Coastal Land (lua);
  • +20% :c5production: Worker Rate;
  • 2 flat resources: Tern Egg;
:c5faith: from lost units could be exploited by humans and require extensive lua code to work (there's no sql for that iirc).

you are too fast, i was working on my message but my english being bad, it takes time :blush:

I really like, Thank a lot for all your idea :thumbsup:

  • Ahu Tongariki (Chilean Eastern Island)
  • 1 :c5food:, 1 :c5culture: and 1 :c5faith: on Coast (lua);
  • 1 :c5production: from local Forest;

No problem, I am always for not creating purely human benefits.

But just for information, I believe the SQL command "Building_YieldFromDeath" does the job.

Now I noticed that Lake+Mountain is already requirement for Gate of the Sun. That means 2 wonders with same difficult requirement. If player meet this req, then he has guaranteed 2 wonders.
