I kinda agree with @gwennog about the description. Don't get me wrong I love that it tells me what kind of play/civ etc. is best suited for the wonder.

However, what it gained in aiding in deciding whether the wonder is right for me is it losing its clarity.

In the past sure it was just flat description, but that sorta told me straight what it does and that worked well for wonders that doesn't show its benefit on the eui tool tip
Like Buddhas of Bamyan, it doesn't really tell me what it gives till I come to the first page of this thread (the bonus from allied City state and dof with civs)

Heh, guys, this work is in progress. It takes time, and so far I managed to add medieval plus couple other wonder's desc. By default all descriptions will be in shape similar to Machu Picchu on screen above. Give me some time. I'm aware that those values must be added.

Bakken is broken, indeed. Will be fixed in next iteration.
About added resources to the map: I used ready sql function, but I don't get it why they are not connected:

Same with Copper from Falun, and probably Wine from Lavaux. I will post this on github VP.

It's the impatience of those who worship this new mod .
But there isn't pressure, I'm just trying to find what I see that works well and less well (and apart from the bugs, it's just personal preferences that can be ignored without problem )

v0.5.15 on Github. New texts. Fix for Bakken. Uffizi no more Artistry wonder.

Sorry if I made it rude just wanted to give feedback on the new text as I said how it is better than the original, it just require some fine tuning :)

the new fix does not fix the wonders that spawn in new resources right..?

Nope. I don't know the reason of that. I just used sql table from vp. Waiting for their response.
Hehe, I'm not mad. Just don't have enough time recently to finish that off and when I can I add one or two descs.

@KittyKat3120 so you can confirm that issue is not only in UI, but also from gameplay perpective?

If you guys could find the topic and comment it on VP github or open NEW ONE! VP guys almost instantly closed it, because they think it is only unrepairable ui problem.

Post in the same post as you.
Very good. They reopened it today in the morning. I hope they fix this, because if not, then wonders will have to be reworked and I want to avoid that.

v0.5.17 on github.
  • Added Kuk (Neolithic) and Ahu Tongariki (Medieval) with new Tern Egg luxury resource.
  • Fixed lua file for dummy (when player who do not have wonder captures city with dummy and do not resets it).
  • Added early plan for Indutrial era and updated spreadheet.
  • Fixed few other things.

I have built Nasca Lines and then Wieliczka Salt Mine, it seems the latter doesn't give 1 food on mines, because I have mine on plains hill with tin, which had 3 food (+2 from Nasca) after buiding Wieliczka Salt Mine it gives the same 3 food. Given salt shows 0, after removing and placing with IGE (sometime several tries) I got salt.

@AndreyK Cannot confirm that. I tried to copy your problem:
Spoiler Test Mines :

Salt spawn is not guaranteed. You need to have tiles that match its bias I suppose. I tested Salt improvement issue by myself and it indeed doesn't work.

I am testing the latest version and I like it :)

For the Ahu Tongariki Tern egg, Monapolies dont work for building (flat) resources (resource doesn't appear in monopolies) and I'm not sure but I think the bonus (+1:c5food:, +3:c5faith:) is not given to the city. Finally, only +2 :c5happy: Happiness from luxury resource is won.

Otherwise, I made a modpack to play with friends and the positioning lua do not work. I have no idea why, I'll look at the logs if it helps.

  • I found in VP wikia that base CS resources give 2 :c5gold:, so I gave some flat yield to this too. But if you are sure that it does not work, I can pass it to building.
  • Monopolies should work, because all CS resources have them (even those added by @HungryForFood). Can you post this on Github VP if you are sure it doesn't work?
  • What do you mean by positioning lua?

I think what he's trying to say that monopolies don't work with resources granted by buildings and are not on the map.

Which is how it is intended to be in VP.

City state resources do appear on the map, they are directly on the city tile.
