I understand, but something my fiance needs to learn is...The goverment form does matter after taking over most of the world, so does your economy ( you might be winning but your broke!), Wonders do matter, but when your under attack and losing cities its time to build defense at least, yes libraries are good but when there sold for money check economy (see above).

Well I wasnt suprised by the result of the poll....
I tried to teach a girl chess when I was a little (yeah she was also a little)
I still remeber to that day what happend...
I had just explained how the pieces move on the board and she grabs the king turns it upside down and asks full of wonder....
"Where do you place the batteries?"
Meaning that if they are supposed to move they MUST have batteries somewhere...

I don't think that the poll demonstrates that 93% of Civ players are male. What it demonstrates to me is that 93% of people who like responding to polls AND who play Civ are male.
My wife introduced me to Civ 3 years ago. She was and still is a Civ1 fanatic. I got frustrated with Civ1 fairly quickly and moved onto Civ2 - where I've stayed.

ways to make women answer poles and visit the site:
1. make them have a fluffy pink border
2. get a domain name called
nice-civ-girls.com and put this site on it. Then when I say visit this site they will.. mind you, so will all this guys
3. create a page for them called "why men are dogs" and hit them with the poll before they can get in. when they vote if it's a female send the to a page saying "because they are" and they'll love you for it.
4. don't let them see this message.
