Popups in the Fora!!

I saw one earlier, too. But it only happened once; I haven't seen it since then. It was on the main forum page, and it was something like "Take a five minute survey and win $100."

I hadn't seen any for a very long time in the forums. I'm almost sure you can live with it. It's only one.

Complain when it's one for every page we're loading.

I had a popup today (the first) it was on the civ1 page and it asked me to take a 5 minute survey and then I could win something. Anyway, click and it was gone, it was only the first I saw so I don't think it's that bad.

I actually got 2 popups for surveys yesterday..... they must be getting clever at how to circumvent AtGuard 3.22 (used with Netscape 6.23). If I see another 2 or 3 get thru, it's time to bring out the bigger guns & put the kabash on them with better PU killers. I think one was about some supermarket or something, BTW. Oh well.....

I just saw one for the 1st time... A little cartoon with a guy and it says they care what I think. Pff! As if! But it was kinda cute... I watched it until it got to the survey part.

I haven't yet seen a popup on the forums. Of course, it could be the firewall at work that is keeping them out.

But I don't enter this forum through the main page.
