Yay! Another toy!
The new stuff has been gratefully accepted...and used !!
Hey, I made these helmets for Sandris and moved them here
Really good! But I think you should make your own thread.
I agrre wholeheartedly
I must also concur. And besides, that way we can hope for further creations on your part rifleman!
Fair enough, I've moved everything to the 'Poser Figure and Prop Creator's Library'
For some reason, I cannot save props as smart props at this time, sorry.
Download. Hand Cannon prop.
Download. A helmet prop. Comes as a set of three props. The hierarchy runs (parent) head > Helmet > Viser Ball > Viser. Use the Viser Ball prop to control the rotation of the viser.
Download. A shield prop. It needs to be parented to the left hand.
Download. Strap and Belt figure made to wear over the PDM Shirt/PDM Tshirt.
Download. Essentially the Kilt 4 figure that I previously uploaded with an extra morph to make it longer and appear as though there is a shirt covering the top.
Download. Shield prop.
Download. Quiver prop.
Download. Bow prop.
Download. Arrow prop.
These look really useful. Thanks!
Those are great!
Now, if I can only figure out how to rig the paperdoll...
The paperdoll comes ready-rigged!
Does it now? Maybe I'm converting it to the wrong format or something, because I've found no bones in the .3DS files I've changed it to.
Blender has no .obj support sans-python. I'll try wings or something.
Weight painting is heck.
If you convert Poser figures to 3DS format they do become solid objects without any rigging. But it's ready-rigged for Poser and anything else that can use figures in Poser format.
I'd be opening it with for example, Wings 3D. This is exclusively a modelling program: No animations or renders can be done with it. Would the rigging disappear if I didn't use poser? It's prohibitively expensive...
Daz Studio is compatible with Poser figures, and it's free. I haven't used it though so I don't know what it's like.
So...does anyone know how one would bring the rigging from poser into blender? I'm really loathe to work outside of it, and I love blenders animating-iness. If anyone knows how, I'd be much obliged.
Where do you all get poser? Do you buy it?
That I do not know.
It is available for purchase. I don't know where would be the best place to purchase it though. You may be able to find a used copy of an older version somewhere.
