PPQ Flavor Module

That Mazatl merchant is awesome.

Did a few tests with the svn version, and it seems to work fine as long as you replace the CIV4CivilizationsSchema file from the Module with the most recent one. (haven't checked all units yet though)

With your permission, i'll commit the updated module to the svn.

Sure thing. Just make sure to keep it an independent module and not merge it with the base game. That will make it easier for me to release individual units and stuff as updates for people to commit instantly.

And speaking of the schemas you'll likely want to replace all the schema files and not just the unit one to be safe.

Also, make a note that there is a conflict with the hamstarflar module but it's irrelevant. Basically we both modify the elf unit style but not the same units so it does not actually clash.

Has anyone checked out the new religious units? Most notably the elven ones as they have one more religion covered than the humans so far. I need to know if you guys feel it is both good looking and sufficiently different from the base to be worth it.

finishing my current test run and then i'll check.

Edit : they look great, the only remark i have is that the lighter skin tone does look weird on the veil version.( it clashes with the top of the head, i feel)

The Mazatl's Great Merchant mount was a nice touch, It's color makes it looks like a Guar from Elder Scrolls. ^_^

Are you referring to the skin on his face or his hands?

Hm... I did not change anything about the face texture. I literally lifted the entire head off one of the existing elf units from FFH. Can't remember which one off the top of my head. It's probably the red piece on the front of the head making the contrast far more jarring than it should be.

I'll see what I can do fiddling about with the color of the face.

What ever it is I'll fiddle with the face and top of the head until I get it to look more consistent. I'll probably make the face up a bit to make it more ashen.

A little spoiler for the series of units I am working on.
Spoiler Unit on the right is mine, unit on the left is there for scale. :

Spoiler And the scientist to go with that merchant. :

Excuse the sloppy photoshop. The units are in fact next to one another, but the scale is such that they are far apart and I decided to cut out the middle bit. I now see why dwarf sized units have larger model numbers.

Spoiler Fun fact. All my dwarven models involve many hours of work in 3D max and custom edits to the animations to make them work. More so than any other model I have created so far. Hope you guys appreciate it. :

I just need to figure out the artist and prophet. The later of which is primarily the issue of how do I make it distinct from the regular ROK high priest.

And at this point the primary question is what unit I use for the animations. Like, my custom healer (not yet shown here whilst I fiddle with her) uses the prophet animation.

Spoiler A short break from the Dwarves and to their opposite. :
The elven great artist might look slightly like a X-mas elf, but it is a custom animated figure with some neat features including the original skull being replaced by a flower to express the elves love for nature.

And yes, that is a unique custom fidget animation made entirely from scratch.

Also can not figure out a proper shade of skin for the forehead. This is the best I can do. And I feel it is good enough. Certainly looks good enough to me. But if anyone wants to contribute you can as soon as I upload the files.

PS. I also made a Santa unit back in december to go with the elf.

Spoiler And now for the great prophet. :

The unit uses customized Buddhist missionary animations so you get all the mannerisms of a polite bow, picking up and appreciating a flower and generally all the good stuff from an Elrond style great elven lord inspired package.
