Pre Vert Nes- World of Altor

Sorry Abaddon. I got so absorbed in sorting out the other players I forgot about you. We can say you spent your time helping Charles and Moose Warrior or Neverwonagame 3 and the Captain your choice.

As a lycanthrope, when I transform, do my weapons go with me or do they fall to the ground? Also, is it at will or more like seeing a visual stimlus (full moon)?

They will fall unless you think of some alternative.

If you were wearing a necklace for example..that could stay on.

An @ Vert, I am hurt considering the imput i have had so far :p

I'll use my hindsight and be with the captain.

It is caused by a genetic mutation which allows you to rapidly breakdown and replicate cells. The first few are random and out of your control but you would have got passed that stage. Next the lycanthrope will choic a form or two to become familier with, at this point is is fully under your control. Next stage the lycanthrope can chose the degree to which he changes. Final stage if a lycanthrope spends too long as an animal there is a chance the animal intelligence will take over. Once this happens it is permenent and cannot be cured. This makes it impossible to change back. You are at the second stage. Your cloths and equipment will drop to the floor and as you are changing into a mouse remain undamaged if you were changing into something larger expect damage to equipment if it is not removed before hand.

Alright, then my idea wouldn't work, unless I could carry a dagger in my mouse mouth.:mischief:

I'm not sure if you would maintain the intelegence to do so?

Its only if you stay too long the animal inteligence begins to become dominant. My question would be how be is the mouse!?

Vert.. What am I meant to be doing now?

Errr, more like rat-sized, about 10 inches long.

wikipedia said:
Brown Rat
It is a brown or grey rodent, with a body up to 25 cm (10 in) long, with the tail a similar length

Where is the fight with the dragon taking place?

Am I leading the retreat back to town?

Is town safe?

Why can't we watch the fight?

Well, right now the Necklace is doing something mysterious. If you want, you can catagorize what it will do before hand but if not, I will have a say. Currantly, it absorves extra bad magic and flushes it away somehow. It was givin by a wise men.

Can we all just invent magical items at the drop of the hat?

Or did Charles have this time from the start?

-------------

This isn't a usual D&D is it.. people seem pretty uber.

About the average size for a dagger then. You could transform into a bigger rat as you know the form and all you would have to do is make everything larger I surpose.

Charles not allowed. Abaddon things seem to have got out of hand. Ah well some tough times ahead then for some people (I will make things a lot harder from now on.). I think I am too leient towards the player. Abaddon it is happening at the main breach you are leading a retreat though town with the militia who fell back when the dragon appeared or you can be tring to kill a dragon. Your choice. Thomas please succeded. People are so powerful because I didn't set the parameters wide enough when rolling stats. Plus its been coming thick and fast or not at all so I haven't had time to do the nesacary rolls.

Guys from now on to allow me time to mod properly I am going to ask you leave at least five minutes between each post when I an ONLINE. When I am OFFLINE try to put everything you want your character to do into a post or two thus making it easier mod. If those rules are stuck to I should have time to make proper mod decisions and proper mini updates. Thanks a lot of all the effot and work maybe we can pull this off.

Cool. Thanks flyingchicken.

Good, your back.

Well I think you giving us a DRAGON to fight as our very first enemy didn't help ramp up the difficultly level a lot.

I don't know about the other characters, but I imagined myself level 2~5ish.. certainly not that impressive in anything.. heck, i'm a 22 male human..

It seems a lot of people have acutally been let off lightly (a lot of people rolling 20 and surviving ;))

I assumed the situation, since it was so hardcore for the start of a game, it would be mostly up to the NPC's to deal with, and what little help we made would have allowed us some growth.. instead we seem like the main characters, and nearly all should be dead!

How are our characters meant to progress in this game, if we are already so high levelled?

Also, do we HAVE to remain as a group, or now that you have set things, can we adventure however we feel like (obviously with you nudging as you feel)

Yeah as I said first adventure was a bit blouched. Things should be more balenced from now on in. Yes you can go where every you like, I will sort out the map today. Abaddon is right it was meant to end up with Dalius killing Enzor and you guys were not meant to try and take him on. Moose Warrior got a very lucky roll in that regard. One lower and Enzor would have killed him for sure and not have been driven back. If it comes a bit slower I will have time to mod it better that why I invented the new rules. Dragons aren't that powerful and Dalius is about level 40 so you were in no real danger. You were meant to dispair and run if I am honest, we have some very noble and stupid characters (not players) in are group.

Well at least I went with the plan. I was happily running around..

(Who thinks they can stab and kill a dragon with a dagger?!?)
