Preorder Edition vs. Normal Edition

Can anyone confirm whether they have pre-ordered from Amazon with 1-2 shipping option?

Is it just me or is this faster shipping option now not available?

The US site said there was no sales tax... guess VAT is a bummer but I think it's worth it for this game. I only buy 1-2 games/year and then play them to death. (not Civ tho!)

I just wish that games companies would realise that they have customers in countries other than the US!

Why not offer the pre-order edition to UK customers? I'd even pay a bit more for it!

Yeah I agree. I would also like the pre-order edition but haveing to order it from the other side of the planet is crazy. More so when the cost of doing so is equal to the cost of the game.

I pre-ordered mine from the Gamestop closest to my college, so on the day CIV comes out I'm gonna just head there 30 minutes before it opens so I can pick it up and start playing the game before 11am!!

It said "Civ IV with Bonus", that means the Special Edition right? I hope?

I pre-ordered the normal edition on Play.com, i have pre-ordered many games from this site and they always arrive at my door the day they come out, i cant remember how much it cost but as long as it reaches my door in 12 days i'll be happy.


P.S. Special addition? Whats this, i live under a rock.
P.S.S. I got it for £20 on Play.com and on Amazon.co.uk i could of got it for £25 so play.com was mush cheaper.

There's a GameStop a five minutes walk from my house, so I preordered it there. Price is the same, and you get extra stuff from preordering, so I figured "Why not?" I believe it's coming in the 26th, and I could just walk over and pick it up.
