Welcome to the new Civ4 ISDG-Team CFC :D

Ok heres out starting city (when we decide on a name i'll change it)

And seeing as we have nothing better to do but speculate, heres a demographics screen, the 3 hammer thing to me implies that someone is working a forest.

Also i know its a trivial matter and everything, but maybe we should decide on a tech to research?

shoot..you missed a tech turn.

Note to everyone for your AI and other games. ALWAYS set your tech as soon as you settle the city. Force click the sci advisor. You actully lose 1 round of beakers according to what I have read on the strat forum. This was prepatch...so who knows now it may have gotten fixed

discussing techs and build que in domestic advisors thread

I'm pretty sure you loose beakers. I'll single player check, but that was a WASTED turn.

after checking it out in single player: the beakers do indeed stay stored

good that was corrected then

Either patch one or patch 2 fixed it

GNP, I think 2 teams have played, both having a palace (8 commerce) and the city's central square producing commerce, the other 4 teams have 0 commerce, because they haven't played yet.

Production: 6 rivals, one has 3, one has 1, 4 have 0 (3+1)/6=0.667 rounded down. I guess at least.

Crop yield: two have played, so this makes sense, no-one is working rice or flood plain.

Soldiers: every warrior and quecha is 1000 soldiers, hunting and mining are 2000, wheel is 4000.
(So someone has got wheel and hunting or mining)

Land area: both or opponents who have played have 6 squares of land (and 3 of sea) in their cultural boundaries.
Population: 1 for everyone ofcourse

Approval rate: happy / happy + unhappy, unhappy is 1 (because of size), happy is 5 (4 difficulty level, 1 palace) for everyone, teams that haven't played have 50% approval.

Life Expectancy: health / health + sickness. Our sickness is 1 (size), health is 6 (fresh water+difficulty(+forests?)). Both of the teams that have played have approximately the same (probably, excluding weird scenarios like expansive with x floodplain, x jungles, and x forests).

Imports/Exports, no traderoutes yet.

I shall keep everything in one thread, as a record to see whats happened, sort of like a history book if people want to come and look after.

But what i can do is open another thread whenever something important happens, city pops, worker productions etc.

Doesnt seem much point in me creating a thread each time just to see a warrior produced.

Now wait a minute..I am Robi D's appentice.(multiplayer is a ***** against him):) I was all ready to do this last night. :) Good job Dutch.

The trends will be more important once we meet. We can start judging who is building up and who is teching good. We want to watch for anyone right around when we settle city 2 that someone is out teching us massively.

Question for the president: How long do you generally want us to wait before considering you "absent" and play the save for you? Right away, if we're over the limit? A few hours after?

Normally if i have a feeling i could be absent i will tell you (UN rep), domestic minister and the FM.

However if an emergency comes up, which i hope doesnt but could, then play the turn after 21 hours, rarely will i not have been on the computer after that length of time-especially with my commitments to Aloha/TNT.

lets set 20 hours the domestic, 22 hours then the FA, at 24 UnRep.

BC will only miss if he is reallllly drunk..which happens quite often but never for 20 hours straight..(hows the head today?)

Just set 20 hours for all positions of responsibility.

then 23 hours for anyone within the team.

The heads fine remember i told you i wasnt going out tonight-or at least i think i did :D not going out now for 4 nights in a row!

Ok so heres turn 2

All personal detail things changed and here's Azelatrof in all its glory
civ4screenshot0048lx3.jpg

I scouted with the warrior and it could be we're on a snakey kind of continent map.
civ4screenshot0046ks6.jpg

Also everyone had so much fun last time so heres the demographic screen after everyone had settled.
civ4screenshot0047hm7.jpg

look in the water..land tile reachable by galley..pay attention when we border pop.

I agree on snakey map. Water wonders will be huge if so. As will sailing techs...we may want invest some tech in
sailing early..lighthouses will be great if all we can do is one city wide on our island.

demo analysis...
someone is working floodplains. Someone however is next to a flood plains or jungle due to the life expectancy number of 80. also I dont think anyone is landlocked...everyone is with in one tile of the ocean or maybe a lake.

we can compare this screen to the first screen and tease out exactly what those teams behind us did. Yeah I know..what use is it...gives me or someone else something to do while waiting for PBEM saves or pitboss time .

Dutch want to add more?
