Time for a Term II thread, Mr. President?

A thought that entered my mind: GCA are the Aztecs. Their UU requires no iron and gets a boost in jungle defense. What are the odds that they are beelining towards iron working and readying a force to wipe us out? We need to scout out GCA as soon as possible. Thank goodness for axemen!

Jags cant stand up to a archer....3 plus and their 50% city defense is a 5.5 not counting cultural defense. Since Jags dont have the swords built in city attack they actually suck for attacking cities. You need 2 jags per archer. If you add a garrison promo to the archers...2 or 3 or more jags depending on the cutural defense bonus.

SO cheap promoted archers to defend the cities and axes to kill them in the open will absolutely waste jags. We are safe unless they bring in a hoard of them.

GCA are the mongols. Keshiks ignore terrain penalties, are stronger than horse archers and ignore 1st strikes. Spearmen will be the best counter (we'll need hunting).

I'm a little behind on my demographics stuff, but last I checked they didn't even have animal husbandry yet (can't see horses). I'll look into it tonight and see what I can find out.

EDIT: They may have gotten it in 3000 BC.

I know, but downloading the save and starting up civ fresh (so there won't be any bugs with loading multiple games) just for one pic is a bit too much of a hassle for me.

Agriculture in 5-we should decide whether we want aze to focus more on food/production/commerce because theres quite a few different options.

scout isnt seeing anything new either.
