YES AA is the Western Roman empire sorry for the confsion, it was claimed via AIM rather then in thread
as a note, i woudl still consider the other nations- the western romans have a slight edge in barbarian diplo (real life proof- alliance vs the huns), and the best infantry, though they are hella expensive, and may have to resort to recruing barbaian mercenaies and federates to help even out battles- not to mention despite the edge in diplo, more barbaisn are willing tio attack them
a tricky balenceing act, which is why i would like a more vetern player to be the W. Romans anyway
but odtn fre- the other two roman nations of the Roman kingdom of Britian, and the E. ROman empire are good choices as well, though both suffer from similer, but not nearlyl exactley the same problems each will be its own unique experince, i can assure you

further note- I'm sure a good deal of you are surprised by how well i do in NES's, considering the fact that I myself am new on this scene- well, let me tell you somthing- pawpaw is a fellow history buff- in fact my better, aside from the specific cases where I have ust gone further in depth to look at then just about anyone else has- but on a whle, pawpaw is by far my better- and I woudl not be surpised if he were to rise up, and thoughlly whoop a good deal f epoles asses save perhaps AA, just because hes a real vet, and knows a good deal of history as well

well, i could start soon, though I have to tell you, i wasnt plannign until after july 2nd, as by then i will be back in the US (i leave the US in early/mid in june, which is just around the corner)
but I guees if you are willing to wait a 20day wait (unless i find an internet cafe) between your last set of orders as I leave, and when I come back, then I could start it this weekend- but I leave the choice up to you the players

You would made/make if more realistic if Ranged are good against normal infantery, infantery are good against Cavalry and cavalry is good against ranged...

except it dosent work that way- any of those troops is used in the right manner can wipe out any of the others- though I find it hugelly ironic that games make archer sgood agianst infantry, as if anything they shouldnt, at least in my opinion- if archers were then the persoians woudl have ahnilated the greeks, and more over there woudl have been far more archer based armies in history as it is, archers are good at defending your territoy, and cities in particuler- not much else
