@das- sure thing, the visigoths are yours
as for the starting point- well since I made britain indipendent the scenario should be later then when i want it to, but then I also want to give the westenr Roman empire a fighting chance- as I often wonder what history would have been liek had the western Roman empire survived- or what more, what if it had been roman polytheist as well..
so that why the sceanrio is mor eor less set around the 4th century, and in specific for the west around the time of Julian the apostate, who is the default name o fthe western Roman ruler

I mean when does the NES start in the real life?
oh, lol, a week or so mabey? I need finish up the rules and such, as well as the nations stats, some beggimg goals players can try to work for (IE; reunite some of the old Roman empire for the western Romans, condederate the tribes- or even unit them into a germanic nation for some of the germans, reconwoure anatloia for the persians and so on- I havent decided if I will keep th eidea of goal in or not yet though... if I do, they will be secret goals- pmed to the player, and not out in the open...

Maybe players can choose goals from numerous possible ones, or even propose their own (to you, ofcourse), and get bonuses for completing them.
thats what i was thinking- basically, for each era, there might be a list of goals for the player to choose from- if they can complete that goal in that era they will gain soem sort of bonus going into the next era- if they complete it after the era has passed, a lesser bonus will be awarded- an dif they can complete a potential goal before it comes up, a more substantial bonus will be awarded

a few are right- most are wrong, I need to find my civ list ofr the exact civs on it- though civs like sweededn, norway, and burgundy didnt exist at this time- and so arnt on the map- while some civs, like your sassanids, are put under thier more proper name- in this case, the sassanids are th e dynasty in chrage of Persia as awhole

Post the stats. Goals must be according to the situation, btw, and it shouldn't be per eras. Upon completion, they may take a new goal from the list, or a new goal that would be added to the list afterwards. Right?

no, mot dead yet, not nearlyl so, its jusdt that evne with sppring breake, i finde my self unenthusiatic about the project, particualry sisnce in a month or so I'm goign away for a month- seems a long ways away I know, but if th epeople who join this NES get as rabid over it as they do jasons NES< it would be messy....
