sorry about that, it will be added tonight, when I'm at home (at school now, and only 90 mins until 10:43, and I'm out of here, and off to go do some **** :D)

and yeah, if everygoes well, the thread will be up late tonight; this was added sop late yesterday due to computer problems :/ (the same proplem that makes me restart my computer when on AIM like ever 15 mins)
 
just dont do it drunk (and, no, I'm not above bribes for my NESing, just so you know, hint hint ;))

UU- Dervishes- 700 per econ, these are ferocious desert wariors, thier name translated meaning "wirlwind"- fighting with the distinctive arabic sabers, these troops are about as good as light infantry come- accustomed to desert raiding, all naitons of th sands have reason to fear for thier infantry (Bonus agiastn all non-UU foot troops and archers,bonus agiasnt all disorderd UU foot troops, Large bonus when fighting deserts and near desert conditions, disadvatatge agaisnt cavalry, disadvatage when not in deserts, or near deserts conditions, large disadvatage in forests)
Army Morale- Mediocre

What about the Huns? Will they be up there?
 
the Hns are just one of the many facvtors that are a possibility in this scenario- they are dependnt of what the Chinese, and the Mongol tribes do over in east asia- if they give a reason, the Mongol tribes will spilt, and for a turn or two you will a large grey blob represetning the Hunicl horde traveling across the map, looking for good new lands ;)

this also is a good time to ask- what woudll you guys most prefer the time between turns to be- I myself like 20 years- representing how so many things can change with the death, or continued life of a single leader, the other choices I have considered are 10, 50, and 100 years each
 
Can you communicate with grey blobs in this game. (Pleeeaassseee?:love: )
 
I'd say 10-20 years. Perhaps start with 20, and leave yourself the possibility to slow it down as the game progresses? Then again, I might just want the larger (20) turn length so that I can get to ~600 AD faster. But 10-20 sounds good to me.

due to the large amount of NPC's. and the demand for this NES ot be out, i will add several NCs tonight, such as the other Chinese states, the pics, franks, armenians, ethiopians, and a few others to give players options, but it will take severl days to really flesh out every civ on the map

that said, any help in leader names, and UUs for all the remaning civs (AKA- all current NPC nations) is VERY aprreciated

@pawpaw- can you give me that one darkage link you gave me agian, i accidentally delted it before i even got a chance to look at the site :/

its not liek your goign to get a bonus at 600 AD- you have to make your own history

that said a word about bonuses- i am currentlly contemplateing send a PM to every one who joins the game (note, cap will be set at 15 people) about a few 'impulses" that drive the thought of the people, both important and unimportant in your empire. the closer you come to achiveing some of these goals will get you a reward with a bonus like the one I plan to give all you pre-start nations at the beginning of the game, the other way to earn a bonus is by just basically doing good in the NES- success breeds success as they say, and the same is true in my NES

franks-genobaud ( acourse clovis is more well know) infantry with throwing axe

saxons--guictglis--axemen

lombards--agelmund ( albion more known) light cavalry

vandals--godigisclus ( geaseric is his son ) axemen

ostrogoths--hermanerich
roxoliani--beuca--similar forces as alans

armenia--king ervand--cataphracts
 
good thought son the leaders, though the UUs for those civs are mostlly made up

Aremenia- Isaurian infantry

Ostrogths- Gothic Cavalary

Franks- Fancesca Throwers

Saxons- House Carls (makign one form of trooper stretch as far as I possibly can, because lets face- one germanic tribe istn really all that different from another germanic tribe ;))

Roxoliani- Light Horse Archer (Sagitarii? I already gave the perisans a latinized name for thier cavalry, and the Aremnians get a latinized form of thier nations troops, so why not continue it with the Roxies as well ;))

Vandals- a good question on the UUs here, I'm opem for fitting names for it- infantry would be best

Lombards I was thinking of giving Langobardii infantry- one of the few germanic nations to have non-mercenary access to orderd infantry, though in this case via a UU, after all, these guys did serve as par tof the Eastern Romes mercenary forces, and even helped to retake italy for the Byzantines (though eventually turned on them)


my main focus would be on the east- the other chinese nations, the japanese, and the koreans, as well as Arabic states, and India and what not- in other words one and all accumulte good informations on these peoples, and give your suggestions, and information regarding leaders and UUs- with specific names in addition to what they are if possible

okay, sorry for the long delay, I've spent the last four hours with friends on mine as opposed ot actually doing stuff- O syill need to re-write the rules, unless you guys are comfortable enough with whats been said to leave a big post up top with basically a rough outline (unless i find a second wind to write it all), there is also the whole NPS nation thing, which will take a bit to write- if it comes out tonight, it will be about 11- 11:30 EST- but dount wiat past 11:40 for it
 
*note- I have decided on 10 years per turn, unless more people would rather 20 years
