Hi,

Civ5mod v9 file is no longer available on Sourceforge :sad:. I can't make new icons without the mod because I don't know the name of the new buildings and techs. The icons are ready, it remains for me to make the xml files before you send them.

Can you see the problem ? OK probem solves, I say nothing...

I can now download the file but it is only 400KB and is therefore corrupt. Can you download it without problem ?

you are sure that the civ5mod v9 file has been uploaded correctly ?

I upload, it says 100% done. That is all I know.

They are down because they were hit by hackers. When they bring the site back up the DL will be available. :)

Ok, no problemo, I understood the problem of hacking, but I don't understand why I can download the old versions without problem if the DL aren't yet available ?

The old versions aren't 38mb :) They have minimal services. Why it can't do it a few kb at a time I am not sure.

If it isn't up by morning I will look into an alternate host.
 
That link says the hacks effects new uploads that's why the older ones can still be d/l.

Maybe try Fileserve for a different place to u/l the lastest mod.
 
D attached is the multiple social page mod, i have PMed u the password :)

Note: The file is password protected for the moment as i want feedback from D while he gets busy creating the social policies and integrating it into the main mod

MasterJ - a couple months ago I tried to make a resources mod as well, including modified dds files for new resource graphics. Unfortunately, unless something has changed in the meantime, it seemed that there was no way to get a mod to access the resource art defines where you set which file to use for the resource. You can create more resources and define existing art (you could have 10 different ore resources all with the same art) but the art is impossible to change at the moment.

Once again, I haven't looked into this recently, but I would have thought it would have been big news if this was possible now.

edit - I was also able to replace the dds file for an existing resource and get it to show up in game, but there is no way to introduce a new file. In it's current state a mod which introduced new resource art would have to replace an existing resource and would require manual replacement of the file in the Civ5 directory with your modified one.

hmmmm badly but wait and see i'm sure we can add some new ressources faster than we think
on the way the dds file to replace must have the 9th other ressource not changed for work right? (bah informations are always good to take then we are ready for the future when we can add some ;) )
 
Hey D sourceforge is still buggy... Is there anywhere else you can upload to?
 
I tried uploading to fileserve but after 30 minutes of uploading and filechecking it finally tells me "Unsuccess!". Yay lol. Hopefully after work SourceForge is online.

decimatus you still need help for audio? perhaps i can do something about but how?

I believe Dale had art in the tech tree and civilopedia for his Hardwood, but showed up in-game as Iron, and horses on the top bar.
 
Attached is the file that will add Fishing Boats to tiles without resources. It needs VFS set to true, and does not need to be an OnModUpdate action.
