Crash fixed. Updating to DoC Revision 131 and then SVN'ing. Then I'm going to add Blue Marble terrain :)

On another note I was rethinking doing the way city defense is chosen and make it based on city population rather than city culture...what do you guys think of this?

I've always been a sucker for eye candy so this makes me very happy :yup:

Thanks to karadoc's helpful upload it took me all of five minutes, including waiting for the game to load. So shoutout to him, and I reccomend you go check out his mod K-Mod, which has many features I plan on adding to this mod one day.

Speaking of loading times, it now takes a considerably longer time to actually load the game. I'll FPK them (for non-modders, that means I compress the files so that its much quicker) for official releases, but I need the actual art files when I'm on unnofficial SVN revisions

Oh I also uploaded another SVN revision that strips all dynamic names out to reconstruct them. I uploaded this so that if I ever screw something up majorly I have this to go back to. Please be warned of this.
 
Looks good. I wonder if it would be possible to make it selectable which graphics to use ...
 
What for? SoI loads quite quickly- I'd say even faster than RFC- with it's BM and unique unit art by FPK'ing them.

I think culture is better, more represents unity. In real life I'd think of it as something like trying to take a large city (no culture) with no loyalty to its current owner vs taking a small city (high culture) full of die hards. Probably be harder to take the small city with people willing to die for their country.
 
Culture isn't represented by loyalty. A city could be 90% foreign and still have 10,000 culture points.
