Am I imagining this or hasn't there been a quote in some intervie that they are hesitant to include total rehauls to old civs and only want to do this when it's necessary, but in France case it was necessary? Could've been in that one French preview, but I'd guess that's a clear hint not to expect too much overhaul of old civs. But in the end, (I don't have the quote) and it's a quote that doesn't say anything meaningful in general either...
I'd be very surprised if there aren't at least minor alterations. The Arabian UA could in theory stay the way it is, but the Morroccan UA is very similar (and better) so I think it will be tinkered with. The German UA makes little sense to keep as is when you look at the Zulu UA which is very similar (and also better). Then theres the name of the dutch UA which is the same name as a new National Wonder, I would think they will rename it to avoid confusion at least.
That's the thing, "minor" alterations are still possible, but I doubt they'd go overboard with it. Take the Germany example. The civ design is tied to the UA, as the strength of the Landsknecht UU lies in the fact that you can upgrade your hordes of barbarians cheaply to a unit of the time not stalling your steamrolling. Take away the UA and you'd need a new UU as well. (I'm not sure anymore what the vanilla Gods & Kings stats of the Panzer are, but could there be a overlap with the Blitzkrieg tenet?).
In any case, Germany wouldn't be a minor change, it would need a whole revamp. And is that really needed? The lower upkeep cost is mostly due to hordes you are supposed to pick up and not the main focus of the UA after all...

Panzer is +1 move and 80 strength instead of 70 compared to the Tank. Lightning Warfare is +1 move and 15% attack for armor (plus ignore ZoC and +3 move for Generals). So the overlap is pretty big.
Forgive me is this has been answered already, but:
One of the new 'reformation beliefs' apparently allows you to 'convert' barbarians. What exactly does this mean? Do the barbs switch over to your side, a la Germany/Ottomans, or does it allow you to control the barbarian encampments?
Partly I am wondering if this might explain our mysterious tomahawk barbarian, but mostly I'm just curious since I don't recall seeing this discussed in any detail here.
What will you be able to purchase with faith for finishing the liberty tree? It has been revealed that tradition gives engineers, one of the better great people, so what will liberty have to compete? Isn't tradition already seen as the better of the two anyway? I personally would hope they both provide great engineers as a way of reducing the reward for getting both.

You get a Great Person of your choice as the Liberty finisher, and that's it. Every tree has something Great Person related in the finisher, and for most it is the ability to buy a specific type of Great Person with Faith starting at Industrial, but Liberty, Piety and Patronage have something different (free Prophet for Piety and GPs from allied city states for Patronage)
Can the liberty finisher great person at least not raise your gp meter then? Its not really free the way it stands, just makes it immediate. If they don't give liberty anything but add something to Tradition that wasn't already there then that is kinda weak. And in my opinion the Piety and Patronage go bonuses are kinda weak as well. Patronage not so much if it has been altered to be more useful with the artists.
Does Poland UA reset the culture points and raise the cost of the next social policy? Or Its really a free policy, which does not interfere in the culture points/cost?

We don't know yet, but getting a free policy each era while keeping the culture cost of the next policy the same would be like getting a free Oracle each era without the 3. That sounds rather overpowered.
Having the free Polish UA increase the cost of the next policy when you get a free policy on the other hand leads to gamey situations where you would delay entering the new era for a turn or so if you are close to finishing a policy, more or less the same as you would now delay settling a city to prevent it from increasing your culture costs.

Considering Patronage GPeople and faith purchase do not increase gpp cap, the social policy liberty finisher or piety finisher should not increase gpp cap either
Don't know if this has been discussed yet, but anyway:
Playing as Portugal, if i find a CS with only one coastal tile, and if that tile is improved, what consequences arise from moving my worker there and building a Feitoria? Besides becoming angry at me, will the CS declare war? Also, is it even possible to do that?
I can't find documentation on it, but I believe that harbors modify sea trade route profits in some way similar to how markets modify trade route profits.
