It's intended to reduce the 80% cost by (AIPerEraModifier * Era #)%.
Making it reduce to (1 - AIPerEraModifier / 100) ^ Era could be better.
 
BIG PROBLEM here : My Incas are getting shafted during turns 228-231 .
Situation: on T228, Cusco is 6 tiles distant from Tiwanaku;
1] engineer in Cusco sent to Tiwanaku to arrive on T230,
2] Chichen Itza (19 turns to build) becomes available at Tiwanaku on T230, chosen to build on T230, engineer arriving on T230, is CREDITED for reducing the build time of Chichen Itza from 19 turns to 9 turns, during T230 .
Here is the shaft job :
3] Next turn, T231, at Tiwanaku, Chichen Itza now shows as 18 turns to build, engineer has vanished; and the world congress has appeared, requiring me to choose a proposal, but will NOT let me choose it, or commit to it .

I hope to be able to save this game; if not,
I'll try another shot at it .

If you experience such issues I highly recommend posting a bug report with a savegame on Github.
 
Does anyone know a mod that makes sea travel faster? I found two mods that adds promotions to naval units, but these doesn't work with Vox Populi units.

I believe it's all manufactories that you built, but not captured ones.
 
No matter if I have ancient ruins turned on or off they dont show up, I've played several games now (even tested on settler to see if the AI was just snagging all of them) and not seen a single one. Anyone have a clue what might be the issue or how I can find out? Playing on the latest communitu on the october 7 patch.
 
Is there a mod that makes all combat/movement animations faster (as opposed to instant)? Something like aircraft speed.
 
What are the conditions in VP for an AI to buy a city outside of a peace treaty ? Can't you sell it back to them after capturing it ?

Desert hills is rough, everything else is open.
 
But desert tiles always cost 2 movement points, like forest, be it flat or hill. Isn't that definition for rough terrain?

Not in the sense that it gives a combat bonus/penalty, which is what the open/rough distinction refers to.
 
I'm trying to use spy advanced actions. I'm on a patch about 6 months old (I think). I have discovered banking. Does anyone know where in the interface I should go to do so? I don't see anything here. upload_2020-11-22_15-57-1.png
 
I was hoping to get some help with making a modded civ compatible with VP and maybe even with More Unique Components. The modded civ is the Afsharids by Nader Shah. I was able to make the units compatible but that's about it. I have a few things in mind in terms of changes but before I get too into it should I make a separate thread? I lurk more than I post so I don't really wanna break any rules about anything.
 
Is there a way to make EUI work with just CP + CBO? Because an important chunk of the interface is missing with just those three, and the negotiation/trade screen breaks if I get rid of CBO's LUA folder.
